I wholeheartedly believe in signs. For example, I always know I’m on the right path when I see my birthday 0831 show up. Similarly, I know that I should check on my friends when things that remind me of them continue to appear. The universe is always talking to you, just listen.
I think one of the nicest surprises is when a brand I actually purchase from hits me up. Like, did you know I buy from you all the time or is this just serendipitous?
CASE & POINT. I don’t know why I woke up and decided THIS was an important topic of conversation but… yeah. Again, my opinions are mostly centered around those who have public profiles since you literally don’t know who is watching you at any given time.
Like I get it… I truly do. Digital nomadic lifestyle = New American dream. But the internet is and has been notoriously an unsafe space. People are really twisted & I just don’t see the justification (even with the most innocent intentions) in handing your kids on a platter.
Additional to my last thought, I’m literally going to be the pregnant person you don’t even know was pregnant. LIKE AT ALL. Pop out with a mini hand holding mine 2 years later on my profile like “LOML”. Maybe 1 close friends story. Lol
People really out here before the kid is even born making content about being pregnant trying to get followers and brand deals. Posting their registry links in bio. Creating entire instagram profiles “managed by mom” for a 2 day old.
With everything I see about pedo’s & how SCARY the internet is as a whole. I know as long as I have a public profile… I will never put my kids face on social media. You’re getting a hand. a foot. MAYBE the back of their head if I’m feeling spicy. Their name? You’ll never know it
I have never had a harder time deciding what I wanted than when my job offered me free Rosetta Stone and I was asked “Language choice”. I want to learn them all… and I can only choose one? Impossible.
If you’re not getting something, don’t assume it’s not “for” you. Don’t think you’re being forgotten about. It could take time, patience, dedication… but the universe is always conspiring in your favor. You just have to be open to receiving it in a way that may look different.
“The universe is always conspiring for you” - it’s taken me a long time to truly understand this. Looking back, even in my darkest moments, I see why things had to play out the way they did. I’ve always received, even when it looked different or taken longer than I expected.
The truth was… it was always on its way, or simply being given in a different method. It was never about being in a place of “lack” or “not getting”. The universe was ALWAYS working to give me what I wanted, what I begged for, what I cried for.
You don’t have to share everything. Authenticity & transparency does not negate the need for privacy. There’s something special about having the ability to enjoy things just for you. Don’t let society define what you’re happy about simply because you chose to keep it to yourself.
@kaypuj Sometimes I think like “damn, I wish I knew this in my 20s. I’d be so much further ahead”. But your journey is yours & it’s perfect as it is! But I’ve been loving my 30s so far! I know you will too! 🫶🏼
@kaypuj No! Lol I felt like 30 was a pivotal moment in life for me. I was getting to start fresh with a better perspective and appreciation for life. 30s are your 20s with more stability, money & wisdom.
