" Mr Badazz, the conflict in Iran has pushed oil prices past $108 a barrel. Would you in today's fraught economic climate, still be on a song that advocates for Americans going to a nightclub on an empty gas tank and spending their gas money instead on VIP access and drinks as your colleague…

Foxx-a-Million once advocated for?
@DeuxProcess it took me two years to finish the transition because didn't put in the time learning djay because i was working. best thing is to load it up at home and pretend you're at a gig. best of luck man!! and it's cheaper than serato and runs great on older stuff!!!
@DeuxProcess i use pioneer controllers and it works flawlessly with everything newer. no matter what brand. it's crazy because it's waaayyyuy more popular than serato, i think older djs disregarded it because we had great software. (that was also back in 2012) not so great in 2026.
@DeuxProcess if you're like me and you like to work way too hard doing live blends with stems, you can split the display to show each part in the song. i use it so you know when you can bring the vocal back
@DeuxProcess the sampler has an 8 bar sequencer so you can load your own drum sounds and hook up loops on the fly. or even load samples use the sync button to put them on time to whatever you're playing. or live drum with your sounds
@DeuxProcess one of my favorite things is you can route effects to specific stems on the fly. you can run just the drums though LPF and echo the vocals only at the same time.
@DeuxProcess i made a shortcut "command-L" to switch the screen to be majority library (you can literally make it how you want it) you can switch the library view to abum covers and i swear it's the closest thing to a record store!!!
@DeuxProcess you get 16 cue points for every track 😶 my favorite thing is as long as your songs are loaded without itunes or serato (just add folders in the "My Files" category you can edit all ID3 Tags in the app, add artwork....speaking of artwork.....
@DeuxProcess the real power tho is "My Collection" that's where you will start building your djay pro library. no crates here they are playlists. you can designate a folder on your mac and tell djay "add whatever i put in here to my library" (also in settings)
@DeuxProcess ABDOLUTELY. there's a serato category(looks like two white record sleeves) that accesses your serato library. use that to ease your transition over.
@DeuxProcess bruh.... djay has "one library" so as i'm working with my music on my laptop i created a "car tunes" crate every week i sync that playlist from my laptop to my phone and hit the streets like it's 2009 again
