Hello @Safaricom_Care, my home Fibre hasn't been working for the past 5 days, we've called and been promised that someone would be sent to fix the problem but this is yet to happen. Please advise on whether we should keep waiting or find ourselves an alternative solution.
Hello @Safaricom_Care, I still haven't been assisted. Why isn't my esim responding? Could you please offer better advice other than going to a safcom shop to queue for 2 plus hours?
A giant has fallen.
The Father of Democracy.
A selfless leader who chose a Kenya ahead of his personal ambitions.
The President Kenya never had.
A beacon of hope, peace and prosperity.
A statesman.
A Pan-Africanist.
We mourn.
RIP our Party Leader.
My power was finally restored thanks to one, Mr. Muyanga from the @KenyaPower_Care Donholm branch. Please pass my regards.
I hope, though, that it won't take 3 weeks again to have an issue sorted out next time.
Dear @KenyaPower_Care, I have for the past 3 weeks been reporting power failure and flickering of lights with zero action from your end. The response I have been getting from you has been "we will send our technicians to assess the problem". 3 weeks later and your technicians...
@KenyaPower_Care I can't call you anymore because I can literally recite the response from your agents, so I'll save myself the airtime. Restore our power supply!!!

@KenyaPower_Care Some of my electronics have already gotten split as a result. Will you repay me for this damage caused? I have never seen such a level of incompetence in my life. Do your job and provide us with proper power.
Every time I call you @KenyaPower_Care for an update, the response has been, let us escalate the issue. 3 weeks later, and I wonder how long escalation takes. Some of my electronics have now been affected and not working because of this issue with the power. Will you pay me back?
Today, I spent time in two large public hospitals.
I witnessed and followed first hand how Kenyans who previously registered and paid for NHIF (through self or through employer) could not access care because their dependants’ data couldn’t be traced in the ‘system’.
Long lines of people with weak and sick loved ones waiting for assistance from frustrated and dejected employees broke my heart. The employees made frantic calls bypassing even their immediate bosses to ‘vendor developers of the system’ in an effort to get way forward for the patients before them.
One characteristic about Kenyan people who sit in high offices and make decisions is that they have no clue what the patients and frontline employees go through. And so they dismiss complains as ‘teething problems’ when in reality, it is torrents of tears and terror on the ground.
And just to imagine large hospitals having challenges with all their networks, what patients maybe experiencing in smaller facilities across the country is unimaginable.
I really wish we cared just a little about people’s lives and knew that they literally depend on these decisions of government.
Let’s be humane, if we can’t be competent.
