@polimernews Have been asking a street light in one of their ward. But they don't even bother. Property tax issue is also there but they don't care to take action.
Why is India’s third term PM, Modi, so scared of US President, Donald Trump ? Americans, whom I know, say that Modi is compromised-by what and whom I cannot yet reveal, which would lead to Modi’s resignation as PM.
Many good (FIIs) check the market's depth and liquidity before investing or trading.
They also look at the cost of hedging to protect their investments. Because of the recent increase in (STT), the cost of hedging in the F&O will go up big time.
FIIs are struggling to earn even 7% returns after taxes and currency conversion from the Indian market from last 2 years & hedging costs are shooting up dramatically.

Galgotias University also produced a video showcasing a Chinese robot dog on its campus, deliberately misleading everyone into believing it was made by them.
Day 1 of the AI Impact Summit turned to be a pain for us.
I came genuinely excited, it was the first time the summit was being hosted in India, and I wanted to show up personally to support the ecosystem and the government’s push.
But what happened next was shocking.
At 12 noon, security personnel arrived to sanitise and cordon off the area ahead of the visit by PM Modi visit at 2pm.
I explained that we’re building India’s first patented AI wearable at NeoSapien and requested a chance to showcase it.
One officer told others to let me stay, and they left.
Then another group came and ordered us to leave immediately. Seemed like there was lack of co-ordination between the security itself.
I asked: “Should we take our wearables?”
They said, others are leaving even laptops behind, security will take care.
Trusting them, I left. Hoping that the wearables will be safe, and If I am lucky, it might catch the eye of PM Modi.
Gates were closed from 12–6pm. Much much longer than expected.
Later we found out that our wearables were stolen.
Think about this: We paid for flights, accommodation, logistics and even the booth. Only to see our wearables disappear inside a high-security zone.
If only security and official entourage had access, how did this happen?
This is extremely disappointing.

Trump has single handedly made Indian women rich based on gold $GLD holdings
Indian women collectively own around 24,000 – 25,000 tonnes of gold (803,768,665 troy ounces). This estimate comes from the World Gold Council and other market observers.
This equates to $3.8 trillion or 3,777,712,725,500 based on today's gold prices...
That amount is about 11% of all the gold ever mined in the world, held mainly in the form of jewelry and other households’ gold assets.
Tenders floated for construction of six lane high level bridge across Rajakilpakkam lake to link Tambaram Eastern bypass with Tambaram - Velachery road near Rajakilpakkam junction at an approx cost of ₹110 crore.
Not sure if the proposed Tambaram - Velachery - Guindy Metro is taken into consideration in finalising the design. It’d be criminal to construct this bridge if it doesn’t have provisions to have common alignment with the future Metro line. Can’t afford to mess things up like it was done in Medavakkam & Velachery.
LIC was making a profit of less than ₹3,000 crores before 2021. In 2022, it jumped to ₹4,500 crores. Then all of a sudden, in 2023, the profits jumped to ₹35,000 crores, which is a 700% increase. Since then, it’s consistently increasing every year with last year closing at ₹48000 crores.
LIC as a company and its agents are making hefty profits, while its policyholders have to suffer for 20–25 years with just a 2.8% CAGR because they lack financial knowledge and blindly trusted the family relative who sold them the policy.
LIC policy holders get a CAGR of just 2.8-3.3% after investing continuously for 15-25 years.
Meanwhile LIC’s last 5 year cagr of net profit is 77.80%, and its last 10 year cagr of net profit is 38.73%.
Both LIC and its agents are making hefty returns, while its policy holders fail to even beat inflation.
I talked to an LIC policyholder today who invested ₹1251 every 6 months for 25 years, starting from 2000.
At maturity, he received ₹85,000 including bonuses. This is a CAGR of just 2.8%, which doesn’t even cover half of the inflation.
In an FD (7% interest), he would have received ₹1.64 lakhs, and in a mutual fund (12%), he’d have received ₹3.62L.
He also had got a term insurance cover of ₹50,000 from that LIC policy, for which he paid ₹1251 every 6 months.
If he had bought a ₹50,000 term insurance separately, it would have costed him just ₹48 every 6 months, because a ₹25 lakh insurance is available in the market at around ₹300 per month.
So basically, he overpaid heavily for both insurance and investment, due to which he couldn’t even beat inflation and didn’t even get a good term insurance cover. His money kept getting wasted for 25 years.
LIC policies are known for making agents wealthier, not investors. Agents buy hefty real estate properties from their commissions while the policyholder can’t even beat inflation.
If any of your friends or relatives try to sell you an LIC policy, respectfully ask them to leave the house.
They know the reality, and if they’re still selling it to you, it means they don’t have your best interests at heart and could cheat you for money even in the future.
