📜 Lecture Title - Important Principles Pertaining to Safeguarding Against Trials and Tribulations – Shaykh Abu Iyaad حفظه الله @AbuIyaadsp

A small reminder with respect to keeping away and being cautious from fitan from trials and tribulations, whether in the deen or the dunya.

Few Excerpt from the Lecture:

"Likewise, Abu Dawood رحمه الله تعالى in his sunan he has a chapter called ‘Chapter on the Prohibition of Striving in Fitnah.’ So he brings the hadith of Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Indeed there will be a fitnah, in which the one who is lying down will be better than the one sitting, and the one sitting will be better than the one standing, and the one standing will be better than the one who is walking and the one walking will be better than the one who is running...”

"...And then he said, “Do not aid and support in any tribulation with your hand or with your tongue, but rather withhold your hand, withhold your tongue and your desire. Allah is the One Who aids.” So this is the statement of Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal رحمه الله تعالى."
