I am Deeply humbled and profoundly grateful, and truly honored to be conferred with the Padma Shri.
My heartfelt gratitude to the Government of India for bestowing upon me one of our nation’s highest civilian honors. I am equally thankful to the Government of Maharashtra for recommending my name and placing their faith in my journey. This recognition is something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
To every person who watched my films, embraced my characters, celebrated my successes, forgave my shortcomings, and stood by me through the years—this honor belongs as much to you as it does to me. Your affection has been the driving force behind every milestone in my life and career.
Today, I also feel a deep sense of responsibility. This recognition reminds me that every privilege carries with it a greater duty—to uphold the values of integrity, humility, and excellence; to contribute meaningfully to the world of cinema that has given me everything; and to serve my country in whatever way I can.
I dedicate this honor to the magical world of cinema, to every artist and technician who has walked alongside me and to my family who have been my strength…

Remember Bundelkhand?

It used to be synonymous with drought. Every few months, newspapers would carry the same pictures: women walking miles under the scorching sun with a ghada on their heads, a child in their godi, cracked earth stretching to the horizon, and editorials declaring yet another water crisis.

Bundelkhand has largely disappeared from the national news cycle nowadays. Wonder why? I'll tell you. Because solving a problem is less newsworthy than endlessly talking about it.

Thousands of households that once depended on distant water sources now have tap water connections under Jal Jeevan Mission. The daily ritual of spending hours fetching water is being replaced by something most urban Indians take for granted, turning a tap and getting water. Women have gained time, children spend more time in school, and entire villages have been freed from a burden they carried for generations.

And it doesn't stop there.

A region once discussed only in the context of scarcity is now attracting tourism investment. Mahoba is getting a ₹24.98 crore cultural and heritage tourism project, while the district recorded nearly 28 lakh visitors in a year. A place that once symbolized drought is now being positioned as a destination for heritage, tourism, and economic activity.

This is why Bundelkhand no longer dominates headlines. The pictures of women carrying water pots make for powerful journalism. The pictures of water coming out of taps don't. But for the people living there, the second picture matters far more.

On a request from state government authorities, an IAF Mi 17 V5 of Central Air Command (CAC) was deployed to rescue two stranded children, who were stuck on top of a water tank in Sidharth Nagar in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The children were stranded in the night as the ladder of the water tank was damaged. This is the most important line about Bengal from another post by @IndiaSpeaksPR. As @jsaideepak documents below, after the 2021 election, BJP voters and even some CPM voters were murdered or raped, and the "intellectual media" looked the other way because they wanted to "save" Bengal from a party they disliked. That was it.

Bengal was a heroic win for the BJP, paid for with blood. I cannot imagine the sacrifices made.

It's common sense that the Terrorist didn't bring these stuff from across the border. Locals are supplying them. What's worse is the ration they get free in the name of welfare from taxpayers money is being diverted to feed terrorists who act against us.

And they don’t just provide food and shelter, but intelligence as well. The terrorists probably knew the movement of the PARA SF, which is why they lobbed a grenade at it, killing one soldier and injuring seven.

Terrorism cannot be eliminated unless the internal support system is dealt with as firmly as the external one.
