If @narendramodi tightened the SC/ST Act with consequences for fake cases and minimum standards of evidence before arrest he wouldn’t lose the Dalit vote.
Why? People are essentially moral. Barely 1% of Dalits would be filing cases under the act. When they hear of criminals profiting from it, they don’t feel good about it.
Two feelings arise:
1. That scoundrel is making money, we should do to
2. This is wrong.
An immoral law is only supported by noisemakers and criminals.
Modi is a good communicator; this is his time to communicate why an immoral law needs revision. And he would win hearts for it.
I like Pakistan India wars a lot more than whatever shit is going on in the world rn. The thing about Pak-India is that neither country wants a full war, they put on an entertaining show for a few hours, decide on a ceasefire and let the people fight on social media instead.

I entered IIT Delhi in General Category with high JEE rank, though I'm from Shudra/Dalit village (+ extreme poverty, hungry childhood). I topped my IIT batch. Went on to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning one of fastest PhD. Then entrepreneur, won numerous patents, etc.
For me, "advanced studies" books were like novels. Most of it felt simple, obvious. One read, I was done, most of the time.
@TrueIndology does not say that so-called OBC, SC or ST lack talent or cannot master a field. He says reservations can be cruel. That is true.
The IITs and similar schools of India put every student in the same room with the professors, in the same labs, under the same exams and the same grades. That room is a mirror. Reservations were meant to give a nineteen-year-old a chance against 1000+ years of presumed and unverifiable discrimination. What they give instead is a daily accounting of what he or she cannot do.
The misfits in an elite nest.
A boy or girl who might have thrived in a skill school becomes a depressed and angry engineer who cannot engineer.
India does not need caste reservations in a limited number of colleges. India needs to add colleges and vocational schools in every city, town, state and every territory—so many that any boy or girl can apply, get admission, learn, find the work that fits the hands and the mind, and grow to the full measure of what is in them.
It will have long term disastrous consequences if the director of @iitbombay resigns. The director and the institute cannot held responsible by any stretch of imagination if a student commits suicide after caught cheating in the exam.
As the news flow over mainstream and social media at the moment, the institute did not take any disciplinary action and rather counseled the student. What more an institute can do?
If we want to build strong characters, and maintain academic integrity and standard, we cannot simply accept that it is okay to cheat in the exam.
I am deeply concerned about the dilution in the academic rigor that has already happened in IITs over the years. Now if the director resigns, the dilution will get a further boost.
Institutes should not respond to knee-jerk reactions in the social media. Rather they should focus on building robust frameworks to address issues.
@SudsG5 I have blocked him a year or two ago because of his nonsensical takes. Also, one doesn’t need to poke their nose in each and every issue under the sun.
But, he seems to enjoy the engagement he gets. Never seen a doctor with this trait before.
I sit on the floor (by choice) when I meet religious saints. They always offer me a chair but I decline. I did not realize I am very low-agency.
I go there to let go of egoic attachment. The Guru is not just a person, they represent Sanatana Dharma itself.
Let me narrate something that moved me. Her Holiness Mata Amritanandamayi, when she comes to the stage to speak, does a namaskaram to the audience, and the same audience treats her as the embodiment of God. Why is she bowing to her devotees?
That is the subtlety of Sanatana Dharma. God is the act of devotion, Bhakti.
If the doctor learns some humility, he may come to appreciate her and the wisdom of Dharma she embodies.
As the Zen master said, as long as his cup is full, nothing will enter him.
@iabhinavKhare It’s because of the kind of music film makers want. They want younger theatre going audience to dance on their movies’ tunes in pubs, at parties etc.
Punjab has many singers, poets who still write and sing beautiful songs which makes sense and soothes your mind and body.
#WATCH | Jammu, J&K | On Bihari-Kashmiri jokes at comedian Samay Raina's show, Kashmiri Pandit and BJP leader Rakesh Kaul says, "The words of comedians can be interpreted in both positive and negative ways depending on the context... If we look at history, people from Bihar have moved all over India for work and to earn a livelihood because of a lack of resources in their home state... However, one shouldn't overanalyse these things. A comedian is just a comedian. Their job is simply to make people laugh. You saw Samay Raina on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' recently. Amitabh Bachchan himself enjoyed the interaction and didn't take issue with anything said... Ultimately, this is a comedy show. So why treat it so seriously..."
A simple fact that the much-hyped Transport Minister @nitin_gadkari should have explained to the masses on the hot topic of ethanol, is demonstrated so effectively by @KVishReddy garu, the @BJP4Telangana MP from Chevella Constituency, through this simple video.
This is precisely why younger, qualified and articulate MPs like him should have been inducted into the Cabinet, rather than continuing with old and fatigued faces.
All I want to know from Minister @nitin_gadkari is:
1. When did India conduct a long term study on effects of ethanol on non-compliant and E20 compliant engines? What were the findings? Was it ever discussed on floor of the house or in TV debates?
2. When target was set at 2030, when old vehicles (at least 10 year old ones) would have been phased out, and compliant vehicles would come in, what was the need for early target achieving chest thumping? Are you blind to science? How the hell are you putting E20 everywhere without caring for pre-2023 vehicles which are still new in 2026?
3. Why were the vehicle owners never communicated about getting E20 when government whimsically forced, at least, 80% of petrol vehicles to be filled with incompatible fuel, damaging the engine?
4. Why were such vehicle owners not given a choice of not getting pure petrol, even when it would be slightly expensive?
Just answer these questions logically, and we will stop getting funded by Soros or Bangladesh or Deep State, or any bullshit that you have been believing to keep your senile ego satisfied.
We know that for @PMOIndia whole of India is some lab rat that can be experimented upon without any consultation and relying on 'ye BKL kar kya lenge hamara' logic.
Still, if you or @narendramodi has any kind of conscience, if you believe in ethical governance, just answer these questions.
I get how Sikhism functions. But the look of an elected CM being summoned by a religious body to explain his behaviour in a democracy is just not cool. I am not an AAP voter. Heck I dislike that party and Bhagwant Mann. But in modern India we should find this kind of stuff to be unwarranted. A chief minister is only answerable to the constitution and his electorate. Not to some random religious body. And I would have the same problem if the CM was a Hindu or a Muslim or a Christian.

A tamilian tried to call an African tourist the N word as he was passing by.
The tourist heard him so he came back and confronted him in tamil by comparing the skin tones ,
turns out the tamilian was as darker than the African 😭😭😭
Hayman, former chief of Israeli military intelligence, in a PBS interview, suggests the Kurdish ground offensive was meant to be the opening salvo of a US/Israeli war against Iran, and that Trump backed out under pressure from Erdogan. 1/14
