@steren we’ve been looking for something like this with persistent file system to every sandbox. Ideally, the persistent file system shouldn’t just be based on something like CE persistent disk but rather GCS with disk as cache. I have tried multiple solutions and only Fly Sprites come close right now.

Can we achieve this via cloud run sandboxes?

@vikrambuilds Both at the same time. I think shorts/reels are making us dumber than AI. Inability to focus that we can't even read what AI produced and inability to patiently work with it to improve our own understanding and state ourselves as explicitly as possible.

That was me.

And it's not a discipline problem. Reels train your brain to expect a new hit every few seconds - so anything slow starts to feel unbearable.

The real cost isn't the time you lose scrolling. It's that even when you're not scrolling, your attention is broken.

I tried many productivity hacks over the years. Only one actually worked: keeping the phone away. Out of reach during work, ideally in another room. The focus comes back slowly. So does the peace. Try it for a week.

I have been using @AsideAI browser for some time now and can tell you that it's probably the best when it comes to computer-use. I've not seen anything even close.

I don’t think it’s true at all. If you couldn’t validate an idea before AI era, you still can’t. But if you could, you’ll now do it faster.

How you use AI can make your idea a genius or infeasible. Coding agents was a great idea and yet MS vscode messed up. Dictation was a “commoditized” idea and yet we’ve WisprFlow.

True. While coding is becoming easier, software design is still hard. All the best agents will give you 10 different “best” designs but you’ve to choose what works for you.

Human judgement in engineering is ironically even more crucial now. Deciding what to build. Deciding on the right architectures. Deciding whether you regenerate from scratch $$$ or reuse existing legos. Managing tech debt. You can do anything now, but you can't do everything.
