@caryncgov I was checking the project status and it says this widening project is on hold with subject to reassessment. We need this road widened. It’s becoming tough at the NC55 intersection with increasing traffic due to new construction, YMCA, new park etc.

@NCDOT this is getting bad every single day. Have been noticing this for months now. Bridge on carpenter fire station road crossing 540 east blunt to NC 55.

@NCDOT Thanks @NCDOT for fixing it so fast. We wish the @TownofCary successfully reassess the Carpenter Fire Station Road’s widening project. The intersection at NC55 with lot of new construction and exploding traffic is making it worse at the patch where 2 lanes turns into one.
