@RishiJoeSanu@OrthosKral@mxtaverse I know about a malayali who migrated to Japan during 80s or 90s, and even started a Kerala style restaurant as it was his passion, running successfully for over 30 years. Imagine getting settled in a country like Japan in 80s or 90s. Japan was strict on immigration policy then.
@gesundheiken@RishiJoeSanu It isn't about the quality of colleges. People go to even shittier colleges outside the state as it's cheaper. It's about job opportunities.
@dumbupole People come to MLR for healthcare and education as it's cheaper. It's mostly the people from Kasaragod district as they are culturally similar, with relatives living on each side of the border. Why would KGD people travel to Kozhikode or even Kannur, when MLR is very close.
@RishiJoeSanu @Akshay_0713 In the 2000s & early 2010s, good 12th marks were needed for KL engrng & med colleges under mgt seat. Engrng colleges needed a min 50% in 12th maths which, many didn't have. They joined other states' colleges without those min marks. Mgt fees are also less outside KL.
@sam123456noxx@RishiJoeSanu Yeah. You are right. I didn't take freight movements, suburban railway systems like Chennai, into account. I was talking strictly about passenger commute like the VB trains.
@sam123456noxx@RishiJoeSanu In terms of reserved seat occupancy, trains that pass the entirety of KL occupy the highest positions. 4 of the top 10 highest occupancy VB trains are also from KL. 8 of the top 10 trains based on occupancy runs through KL. KL is never a loss making state like you claim.
Please read this. This is from my recently concluded interview/ debate on India Today. One of the segments that went deep into a topic. I call upon my doctor friends to find ways to take care of your own health and mental well-being. Pamper yourself.

@RishiJoeSanu Check out the latest percentage of the total population who completed 12th equivalent or even 10th equivalent ? That will give a more accurate number even by 2026 estimate.
@srreeni@RishiJoeSanu@AatishBastard The Portuguese were persecuting every Indian who opposed them. They only sided with Indians including Hindus who saw them as allies. Their purpose was conquering and annexing.
@TejAdarkar@RishiJoeSanu Temple Dewaswom boards, Waqf boards also own huge hectares of land. Then there are also private entities who own hectares of estates. Nasranis are rich because they were historically successful businessmen, traders and even bankers who loan to Hindu kings.
Fighting for public against alternative medicine. At what cost? A whole packed outpatient. Sickest patients in the ICU. Non-stop referrals. This whole day was so tough for me. A bit exhausted, but not out.

An arrest warrant was being planned. Many thanks to my huge team of lawyers in Kochi for fighting this out for me. Not the first, won't be the last. They have been doing this for so long, it takes time, effort, resources and money. This whole ordeal has cost me INR450,000 because the criminal case was tactfully placed in another city.
If you would like to contribute towards the fight for public health against pseudoscience and quackery and help us support our lawyers, please do. We are for the people.

Please do not get tired of me posting about the same thing. The stakes are high! Its a matter of crores of Indians, especially children. When it comes to children, hesitancy can have a cost! We cannot allow history to repeat! There may not be another Dr Sivaranjani to fight again. It's not just eRZL, but no drink should be positioned in the pharmacies along with WHO recommended formula ORS, and even better, none of the other beverages should be available in the pharmacies, hospitals, and schools. Please sign the petition and share it. We need to tell the Govt. how people of India feel about the issue, not that they don't know, but we need proof.
Share this super creative video which tells one how confusing it gets for a stressed parent taking decisions when their child is sick.
Also, another two companies have come up with ORS on the label. What are FSSAi and the FDAs doing when companies are so blatantly violating the Govt. order??!!

Today is World Liver Day 2026.
Here are 8 things your liver actually wants you to know.
1
There is no such thing as a "liver detox."
Your liver runs phase I and II detoxification 24/7 on its own.
No juice cleanse, no milk thistle, no herbal detox speeds this up.
In fact several have caused liver injury - the opposite of the claim.
2
Alcohol has no safe dose.
Liver harm begins from the first drink.
The old "moderate drinking is protective" myth came from flawed studies contaminated by abstainer bias - now debunked by Mendelian randomization.
Zero ml is best.
3
"Natural" supplements are now a leading cause of acute liver failure.
Ashwagandha. Green tea extract. Garcinia. Kratom. High-dose turmeric. Giloy/Tinospora.
They dominate drug-induced liver injury registries across India, the US, and Europe.
Natural ≠ safe.
4
Coffee is genuinely liver-protective.
2–3 cups/day (caffeinated or decaf) lowers the risk of fibrosis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer.
One of the very few dietary interventions with real, replicated evidence.
5
Fatty liver (MASLD) now affects ~1 in 3 adults worldwide.
A 7–10% body-weight loss:
• clears Liver fat
• reduces inflammation
• can regress early fibrosis
No approved drug currently beats this. Your plate and feet are the first-line therapy.
6
Sugar-sweetened drinks independently cause fatty liver.
Fructose is metabolized almost entirely by the liver - straight into fat.
One daily soda raises MASLD risk even after adjusting for total calories.
Lesser is better.
7
Get vaccinated against hepatitis B. Get screened for HBV and HCV at least once in your lifetime.
HBV vaccine prevents >95% of chronic infection, cirrhosis, and liver cancer.
Hepatitis C is curable in 8-12 weeks with >95% success - but most carriers don't know they have it.
8
Exercise protects the liver independent of weight loss.
150 min/week moderate OR 75 min vigorous activity reduces liver fat and stiffness - even when the scale doesn't move.
Movement is "medicine".

PS: we also need a liver emoji
The Parasuram Express running from Kanyakumari to Mangalore is the train with highest occupancy in India, a whopping 268%. There are 4 other trains running through Kerala in the top 10 list. Yet Kerala gets the least in terms of railway infrastructure. The Parasuram Express still runs on 2 decades old ICF coaches and still not got LHB rake I believe.
