@Apple After recent watchOS update, hear rate post workout going berserk. Compare this with a proper BP monitor and the discrepancy is over 100%. What’s going on? #applewatch#apple
If you ask me for the best book recommendation to learn the mathematics behind AI and Machine Learning, it would be 'Mathematics for Machine Learning' by Marc Peter Deisenroth, A. Aldo Faisal, and Cheng Soon Ong.
It’s self-contained and focused purely on the mathematical foundations (unlike broader ML books like Deep Learning by Goodfellow et al. or The Elements of Statistical Learning). Perfect for self-learners: it assumes basic math knowledge but builds everything up step-by-step.
Best part: The full book is freely available as a PDF on the official site: https://t.co/jD3EqterC4.

From one coffee capital to another! Great to see outstanding 🇮🇳 ☕️ featuring at this week’s 🇦🇺 Melbourne International Coffee Expo #MICE2026#Karnataka@DFAT_TradeTalk
@sydney_ev@k_mahlburg Even if we drill, history suggests 90% of it will be exported with little to no revenue being passed. Instead let’s focus on Solar and electrification of our infrastructure.
@auspost How inefficient a postal service can be? The parcel arrives in Fyshwich, ACT on Friday the 14 of Feb from NSW and it takes a week to deliver to the suburbs? Shame on your service!
@DoctorKarl Regarding recent question about redheads and anaesthesia on Q&A, an interesting fact for you. The condition, https://t.co/4LWkarrsPj affects people from certain communities around the world and hence are sensitive to anaesthetic drugs.
The Specialist Intelligence Gathering (SIG) helicopter is fitted with infrared cameras, and the ability to live-stream footage and geospatial data in near-real-time. 🎥 🚁
The helicopter, also known as Firebird 100 (FB-100), was crucial in detecting and responding to bushfire ignitions in the Namadgi National Park earlier in the week.
🔥 Fires that start from dry lighting can smoulder for hours or days and often aren’t visible to the naked eye - especially in dense bushland.
Thermal imaging allowed crews to pinpoint hotspots quickly and provide information to the incident controller and other aircraft.
3 of the 4 fires in the Namadgi National Park were detected on Saturday 03/01, after a storm passed through the region.
The fourth, near Corin Dam, was detected on Monday, 05/01. 📸 This footage from FB-100 shows the moment crews spotted smoke at this location for the first time.
Throughout the week, FB-100 has conducted several lighting detection flights - scouring the bushland for hotspots and possible ignitions. Firefighters will continue to monitor in the days ahead, but no further ignitions have been detected.
The technology of FB-100 allows for a fast and efficient emergency response.
It’s just one of the ways that emergency services are equipped to keep the Canberra community safe from the threat of bushfire.
