RBI surplus to Govt : ₹2.87 Lakh Crores (US$30 Bn)
Total listed bank profits : ₹4.11 Lakh Crores (US$42 Bn)
NPCI - which runs UPI pre tax ‘surplus’ : ₹ 1,888 crores (US$200 Mn)
To nuksaan kis ka ho raha hai UPI se aur kaunsi subsidy de rahi hai Govt UPI pe jo chubh rahi hai?
Cost of running ATMs and cash logistics in India is ₹30,500 crores (US$ 3.0 Bn). If you want to optimise shut ATMs and promote UPI instead.
Any levy on UPI is just tax collection. UPI is the one scientific achievement of India everyone acknowledges par ab tax ki bali chadhegi.
@WesternRly@AshwiniVaishnaw@WesternRly@AshwiniVaishnaw@drmbct Subject: Urgent Safety Complaint – AC Local Train Door Opened on Wrong Side at Borivali Station
To,
The Divisional Railway Manager / Senior Divisional Operations Manager
Western Railway, Mumbai Division
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to report a serious passenger safety incident that occurred today, 26 August 2026, involving an AC local train operating on the Virar–Churchgate route.
The train was the AC Fast Local originating from Virar at approximately 7:59 AM. When the train arrived at Borivali Station, the driver/motorman opened the doors on the wrong side of the train.
This is an extremely serious safety concern. During peak hours, AC local trains on this route are often extremely crowded, with passengers standing close to the doors. Opening the doors on the wrong side could potentially result in passengers stepping onto the railway track or falling from the train.
Fortunately, this incident did not result in a major accident or loss of life. However, the same mistake during a more crowded situation could potentially cause multiple serious injuries or fatalities.
I request Western Railway to urgently:
Investigate this incident and establish exactly why the doors were opened on the wrong side.
Review the CCTV footage, train logs and operational records for the incident.
Verify whether there was any communication or signalling issue at Borivali Station.
Check the door-control and safety interlock mechanisms of the AC local involved.
Identify whether this was a human error, equipment issue, procedural lapse, or communication failure.
Take appropriate corrective and preventive action to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.
Provide confirmation of the investigation and the corrective measures implemented.
I request that this complaint be treated as a high-priority passenger safety issue because the potential consequences of such an incident during peak hours could be catastrophic.
Passenger safety must be the highest priority, and incidents involving opening train doors on the wrong side should not be treated lightly.
I request an acknowledgement of this complaint and details of the action taken.
Regards,
Deepak Singh

Villagers have repeatedly complained about the school principal’s alcoholism, but senior authorities have taken no action.
If the principal is not removed by Tuesday, I will join the villagers in protest.
The school also has just two teachers for five classrooms. These issues cannot be ignored.

We are relieved and grateful that Sonam sir has ended his hunger strike after 26 days.
Thank you, sir, for your extraordinary courage and sacrifice. By putting your own life on the line, you awakened the conscience of an entire nation. Your life is far too precious to this country.
The Cockroach Janta Party’s peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar will continue until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.
