I liked that they addressed Logan being a famous athlete who came out as Bi and the impact this has on someone in the sports world, regardless of how many people feel about him
He's still part of a discriminated minority, and it's good to empathize with that
Obama got emotional in a recent interview recalling how he used to read letters from Americans all over the country.
And then I got emotional remembering how presidents used to be able to read.
Logan dealing with emotional abuse to be "perfect" and that he's a disgrace if he doesn't meet his parents' expectations is so fucking real. Literally similar shit that I went through. Logan's story is important and I'm glad it's being told. I relate so hard to this nutcase.
You made fun of someone who literally went through emotional abuse by downplaying it as "muh trophies" and also implied what his siblings went through was also okay. You're still not understanding the comic. Literally use common sense, dude.
I really liked how Logan's relationship with his mother was handled. They could have taken the easy route and made her the "villain". But she was just a single mother trying to raise strong children.
I liked that Logan protected his siblings' childhood.
He literally has an emotionally abusive mother who thinks of him as a disgrace if he doesn't live up to her expectations and had total control over his life.
You can hate Logan all you want but don't lie about what actually happens to justify you're hatred, this is insensitive.
I love when characthers get a Power-up by pulling the old reliable of - BEING FUCKING ANGRY
Screw frienship or anything, just toss those fucking hands and beams
It was interesting to see how Logan's mother, without realizing it, was always putting this pressure on her children to make sure they never failed, and I appreciate that she wasn't demonized for it.
CM Punk is going viral after a 2018 interview resurfaced where he was asked whether he’d attend the White House if invited.
His response:
“I would not be invited, I would not go”
“A racist is a racist. I don’t care if you’re in the White House” https://t.co/een8ZJrdFQ
People would appreciate Disventure Camp more if they understood that the show's intention isn't to develop characters
Its intention is to expose diverse realities that we can identify with, so that the eliminations and the game impact us as if it were a genuine reality show 🧵
I'm not falling for this propaganda.
the ENTIRELY of DCAS was a buildup to him being a bad dad, the only thing he needed to be accomplished is getting called out and losing so he could get a wake up call. both of which happened.
