🚨 FINAL ESCALATION | @skyli_realme@realmeIndia@RealmeCareIn
My realme Narzo 80 Pro 5G (RMX5033IN) developed a sudden display failure during normal use — black spot, green line & severe blinking.
📅 Purchased: 18 Jan 2026
💰 Price: ₹20,498
📌 TRF Complaint: 12260820002600
⚠️ There is NO external physical damage — no crack, dent, impact or drop damage.
Yet the service centre rejected my warranty claim stating:
“Fault Cause: Liquid damage on display assembly”
The only basis cited was a red LDI indicator.
I formally dispute this diagnosis. I have not been provided clear technical evidence showing actual liquid damage such as corrosion, liquid residue, moisture marks, or damage to the motherboard/display connector.
I have requested realme to provide:
• Photos of the alleged liquid-damaged area
• Details of corrosion/moisture/liquid residue found
• Confirmation of motherboard/display-connector damage
• Exact warranty clause used to reject the claim
❗ MOST IMPORTANT: MY PHONE IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY.
Instead of resolving the warranty claim, realme is offering only a 20% discount on a PAID display replacement.
❌ I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS AS A RESOLUTION.
🔴 MY CLEAR DEMAND:
I want my phone to be properly assessed and, if eligible under the applicable warranty terms, the display issue to be repaired UNDER WARRANTY.
I am NOT asking for a 20% discount or a paid repair while the warranty rejection itself remains disputed.
Other unresolved issues:
🔴 Purchase-date discrepancy:
Original Amazon tax invoice: 18 Jan 2026
Service-centre Repair Order: 25 Jan 2026
🔴 ₹118 payment without receipt:
Paid on 21 Aug 2026 via UPI, Ref: 623311310432, but no receipt/invoice was provided.
🔴 National Consumer Helpline:
NCH Grievance No.: 9949273
I have already contacted realme through multiple escalation channels, but the matter remains unresolved.
@skyli_realme@realmeIndia — I request senior management to independently review this case and provide a transparent, evidence-based warranty decision.
I am not asking for special treatment.
I am asking for the warranty service applicable to my device.
20% discount on a paid display replacement ≠ warranty repair.
If realme does not provide a satisfactory written resolution, I will proceed with the appropriate consumer-protection/Consumer Commission process and submit the complete documentary record.

Your own official product page advertises this device as “IP69 Top-Tier Waterproof” and states “Works Just Like Before Even After 48 Hours Under 2m of Water.”
Yet my device has been declared OOW due to “liquid damage”, and I have been offered only a discounted paid repair.
If the device is being rejected due to liquid damage, please explain:
What exact component has liquid damage?
Where is the physical evidence/corrosion?
Please provide the inspection report and photographs.
How does the OOW decision relate to the water-resistance claims shown on your official product page?
I am requesting a proper technical review and written explanation, not simply a discounted repair offer.
Please escalate this case to your senior technical team.

I am seriously concerned about the way my device has been classified as “Out of Warranty” due to liquid damage.
Your official website advertises this device with IP69 Top-Tier Waterproof protection and states that it can work even after 48 hours under 2m of water.
However, your service centre has apparently relied on a RED LDI indicator to classify the device as liquid damaged, without providing me clear evidence of actual internal liquid damage.
If the device is advertised with such a waterproof rating, please explain:
1️⃣ What actual evidence proves liquid ingress/damage?
2️⃣ Is the RED LDI alone sufficient to reject warranty?
3️⃣ How does this diagnosis reconcile with the IP69 claims shown on your official website?
I request a proper technical inspection report and a transparent written explanation, rather than simply marking the device OOW.
@realmeIndia @realmeCareIndia Please review this case at the appropriate level and provide a fair resolution.

@skyli_realme@realmeIndia @realmeCareIndia I am seriously concerned about the way my device has been classified as OOW.
Your service centre has declared my device “liquid damaged”, but apart from a RED LDI indicator, no actual liquid damage has been identified or shown to me.
My device has no external/physical damage, no corrosion, no visible moisture/liquid marks and no identified point of liquid ingress.
More importantly, realme itself advertises this device on its website as “IP69 Top-Tier Waterproof” — as shown in the attached screenshot.
I understand that IP69 does not mean unlimited protection against every liquid or that every liquid-related issue is automatically covered under warranty. My concern is different: if realme is relying on the RED LDI as the basis for declaring the device liquid damaged, where is the technical evidence that actual liquid entered the device and caused damage?
Please provide: 1️⃣ The exact warranty clause stating that a RED LDI alone is sufficient to classify a device as liquid damaged/OOW.
2️⃣ Actual diagnostic photographs showing the liquid damage.
3️⃣ The exact component/location where liquid damage was found.
4️⃣ The technical basis for concluding that the device suffered liquid damage.
If there is no evidence apart from the RED LDI, please explain how actual liquid damage has been conclusively established.
I request @realmeIndia to escalate this case to the senior technical/warranty team for a fresh review and provide a clear, evidence-based response instead of closing the complaint solely on the basis of the LDI indicator.
I am asking for transparency and technical evidence, not an assumption based only on the LDI.
@skyli_realme@realmecareIN@realmeIndia I am not satisfied with this resolution.
Your service centre has classified my device as OOW citing “liquid damage”, but apart from a RED LDI indicator, no actual liquid damage has been identified in my device.
There is:
• No external/physical damage
• No visible liquid/moisture marks
• No corrosion
• No identified point of liquid ingress
• No other evidence of liquid damage communicated to me
Please provide the EXACT realme warranty policy/clause that states that a RED LDI indicator alone is sufficient to conclusively classify a device as liquid damaged and OOW.
Also provide the complete diagnostic evidence/photos showing the actual liquid damage and clearly mention WHERE and HOW the liquid damage was identified.
If the only basis is the LDI indicator, please explain how realme has conclusively established that the device suffered liquid damage.
I request a proper technical review and reconsideration of the OOW decision. Please do not close the complaint without providing a clear, evidence-based explanation.
