@xendir1@JulieCFrost Korean Americans rarely live in Koreatowns. Take Koreatown LA or NYC which are the two largest in the country. They’re just centered around food but they’re not actual enclaves
@aurdal@birdhax What are you talking about? It’s a perfectly valid setup to have a homelab where certain devices are provisioned to be outward-facing? That’s not “compromised” what’s “compromised” is someone dropping a zero-day that uses that to get into non-gateway devices
@aurdal@birdhax No it doesn’t. There are so many Tailnets mine included that had liberal access rules on less important machines and strict access on dev machines servers etc. This is not “compromised” this is a very common setup. The port forwarding vulnerability allows lateral movement
@SkallaPhil84600 Trade involves leverage which you have in that case, retarded protestors in Paris changes nothing about that. The US-Israel alliance is much different, that is a relationship borne out of geographic arbitrage
@SteveGoldstein1@giladzw Lol dude I know. I did a double major at harvard in govt and won the world debating title. I even subscribe to Matt shugart’s Fruits and votes and follow the Knesset. I’m not angry at Israeli policy this is purely on optics and political capital
@janaxolotl@giladzw (2) I think the Occam’s razor explanation is just short form content. It’s so much easier to clip and clickbait now and in my experience most of the radicalization has been from the deluge of vids on Ben-Gvir’s alligators etc
@janaxolotl@giladzw I read this all and I agree with the conclusion but I’m not sure how convinced I am about the mechanism. For reference I attended Harvard College until 2025. The (very loud) pro-Palestine camp was like 40 total kids. Everyone else viewed them as unemployed, bored, etc.
@SkallaPhil84600 I severely dislike the importation of Islamists too as an American atheist. Trust me lol. I don’t think Paris or Brussels is relevant to the future anymore though. You really should only care about American public perception
@SkallaPhil84600 So everyone is falling for everything and Israel is completely blameless in its PR mgmt? Lol no skin in the game again but this seems like it’s not gonna end well
@janaxolotl@giladzw I also don’t understand this assumption that everyone was going to hate Israel anyway. This is a more recent thing in the US. Like a decade ago people didn’t. I think PR work is broadly important too
@janaxolotl@giladzw I’m not America First, I’m a moderate Third Way liberal. I care about America before other countries of course but part of that is how we’re perceived internationally. Again I have zero skin in the game, just some food for thought. Idk if Israel really wants to be that alone
@SkallaPhil84600 No dude this is such cope. You’re looking at a small vocal minority. There are literally more Groypers and AF than retarded wokies among young Americans. Trump is literally POTUS. You’ve lost popularity among the most pro-West young Americans too.
@janaxolotl@giladzw I read the entire thing, I’m indifferent not retarded. I just think you should consider how the world feels about Ben-Gvir when he’s making the cover of BBC every other week
@SteveGoldstein1@giladzw Idk man, I think most people are turned off by Ben-Gvir. And again I say this as someone who doesn’t give a shit about Israel or Palestine given Im neither Israeli nor Palestinian
