Cleveland Cavaliers' James Harden is declining his $42.3 million player option for 2026-27 and the sides are working through a new multiyear deal together, sources tell ESPN.
@BTRowland can you explain why celtics can successfully overload on JJ while the hawks neither load up on jaylen brown nor cover off ball shooters? scheme? personnel? effort? i know some nights the 3 ball just falls but i can’t believe how open most of these shots have been
@BTRowland the stark contrast in these rotations is insane. i swear every combo of players quin’s thrown out there that looks bad on paper has been bad on the court
@Jonesy2x4 that’s why i’m so bullish on keeping Jalen. obviously for the right trade anything is possible but he’s one of the only guys on the roster who checks all of those boxes
@Jonesy2x4 this team needs size and losing JJ for zion makes the team even smaller. i don’t love the JJ + zion fit but i think the roster is easier to construct moving forward and has a higher floor when zion’s hurt. im just not sure what other GUY is out there for decent value
