Public Statement Regarding Chethan KVS:

We are addressing concerns involving Chethan KVS, also known as Design Pilot on YouTube.

In October 2021, while associated with @10kdesigners as a mentor, multiple credible accounts and evidence brought forth the following violations of our code of conduct:

- Bullying of young designers
- Abuse of his influence & position
- Sexually inappropriate DMs towards mentees

Due to these violations, Chethan KVS was promptly banned indefinitely from participating in our cohorts and from attending official events in any capacity.

Recent evidence suggests he is once again repeating the behaviour to bully specific @10kdesigners alumni and using his platform to disseminate misinformation.

Such actions, particularly from a figure of influence, can severely damage the confidence and mental well-being of emerging designers. The power dynamics at play can make individuals feel trapped, silenced, and fearful of potential career repercussions. It's distressing that young professionals, at the outset of their careers, might have to confront such challenges when they should be focused on growth, learning, and creativity.

We unequivocally condemn his actions and will stand by our members to prioritize their safety and well-being.

We want to clarify that we have no association with Chethan KVS aka Design Pilot and are unwavering in our commitment to a respectful and supportive learning environment for all associated with @10kdesigners.

A lot of young bloods have gotten into a habit of pampering themselves so much that they aren't even putting that offort to discover their passion.

Everyone told them to sleep for 8 hours to be healthy but no one told them to stay awake for something they're passionate.

Indirectly or so, a lot of us have gotten into the cycle of limiting our actions by constantly reminding themselves such societal rules of a happy-healthy life.

Even if these societal rules are sensible, they shouldn't be an excuse to not fall for passion.

New day, new app, new addiction;
oversharing is weakening; retrospection is rare; humour is misleading; celebration is injurious...

those who haven't stood for their own passion are fighting for the societal sentiment; those who haven't created anything are questioning the systems; those who themselves are insecure and standing for the rest...

It heartbreaking and funny.
I see faults in me & a lot of people around, peace.
