Reform UK’s Andrea Jenkyns (@andreajenkyns) hasn’t fulfilled her statutory duty in responding promptly to FoIs.
Likely because GLCCA is currently operating illegally without a Monitoring Officer.

Now, that's an interesting result for @PeterboroughCC. Tory+Reform doesn't make a majority. Lab+Green+Lib-Dem doesn't make a majority. Independents will be responsible for ensuring the council focuses on with the job of fixing the city.
TINY, RURAL LINCOLNSHIRE VILLAGE WINS ‘DAVID AND GOLIATH BATTLE’ AGAINST QUARRY DEVELOPER AND COUNTY COUNCIL
“Residents in West Deeping, Lincolnshire are celebrating today after a three and a half year battle to stop their village ‘being engulfed by quarrying’.
“Residents said ‘Enough is Enough’ after enduring decades of quarrying around their village, resulting in the majority of their parish being mined for minerals.
“Quarrying is already taking place only 60metres from houses, and the prospect of this being further extended alongside the village was too much.
“Dust, noise, bright lighting and constant HGVs had already blighted their lives, and they could not tolerate any more.
“The proposal for a new quarry alongside the village was included in Lincolnshire County Council’s draft Minerals and Waste Local Plan.
“Villagers say the site was included with no proper assessment of the cumulative impact of increasingly-close quarrying over decades and the effect it has had on their lives.
“More and closer quarrying would have a profound impact on their their physical and mental health. Silica dust from the proposed quarry and, more importantly, a processing plant and associated industrial area next to the village was particularly singled out as a significant health and safety risk.
“West Deeping residents say that they “have been determined to protect their quality of life” and that they are “beyond relieved and thrilled at the news”.
“When the Council sent its draft Minerals and Waste Local Plan to public consultation in 2024 it received the most representations it had ever received: the majority of these coming from the West Deeping area.
“The Council’s draft Plan will now progress through further formal stages, including Government scrutiny, and residents will be watching closely in the expectation that the decision to remove the proposed quarry site will be ratified.”

Not a lot of people know this about Nigel Farage, and he doesn’t like to shout about it, but many years ago he spotted a young boy crying on Clacton Seafront. He asked him why he was so upset, and it was because his mum had given him a pound to go and buy a 99 but just as he approached the ice cream kiosk, a seagull had swooped down and stolen it from him before flying off towards the amusements.
Without a single moment’s hesitation, Nigel gave the boy another pound to get a 99, and then he bought ice creams for every single child on the seafront that day. Inspired by his kindness, the child hugged him and promised that he would never forget his act of generosity.
That little boy grew up to be Whitney Houston.

Reform UK fields a council candidate who says she understands UK business challenges… because she ran a pub in Spain. 😂
That’s the pitch? That’s the experience?
Maybe take that expertise back to Spain and run for councillor there. 🍿
@reformexposed Reform led Lincolnshire County Council are shutting a much needed Dementia Support Service. Dementia is a joke to Reform full stop BBC News - Dementia support service faces closure

There’s a by-election coming in #Leicestershire Council for Narborough & Whetstone. Caused by Reform UK councillor Andrew Thorp resigning.
The Reform candidate - Dee North is a former parish councillor in the division who got booted off that council for… NON ATTENDANCE.
Environment Committee at @LincsCC this morning has been more interesting than I thought it would. I've just heard a Reform councillor declare "I don't think we should prioritise cyclists". I disagreed. I've also been looking at the fascinating @ONS data on car ownership.
