At least we don’t have stuff like this in cricket, would be raging if one country had an overwhelming influence over the sport or had important figures in positions of power
When we signed Mohamed Salah, I knew we were getting someone who wanted to prove a point to the world. Someone who wanted to show everyone why he came back to the league.
He ended up turning the best league in the world upside down, became the benchmark for every winger who dared to compare him.
I could list every record and stat about him but that would be too long, we’ve seen enough to know that we are talking about an all time great and once in a generation player at this club. There will never be a player like Mohamed Salah.
Arguably the best player in his prime not to win a Ballon D’or, IMO.
It’s been an absolute privilege to watch him and thankful for every moment he’s given us, since day one.
Thank you, Mohamed. ❤️
Whether the cockroach janta party is a legitimate movement or not, is not the question. Time will tell. But the traction they received, the sentiment behind it, the rhetoric from the youth, all legitimate. And if all that wasn’t legit enough, the utterly dumb move of shutting down their accounts legitimised everything.
Lamine didn't raise a Hamas flag. He raised a Palestinian flag. The fact that you all find it offensive to even see a flag of Palestine or them existing as people is a you problem, not Lamine's problem. And its deeply disturbing.
