one of my favourite things about building is seeing what other people are working on.

if you’ve built something with Bachs, or you’re working on an interesting backend project, you can now submit it to the Community Projects section on Backend.

would love to see what everyone’s been building!!!

drop yours in and let’s give more projects the spotlight they deserve.

The last week has been beautiful

sometimes you have to step back from the momentum and ask yourself if you’re truly scaling or just getting bigger

we’ve been growing fast (400 signups daily kind of fast, still with zero paid marketing so far)… but I realised we hadn’t scaled the foundations to match

People first, people most especially… then systems, undocumented processes that had become bottlenecks in hiring, unit economics, security(daily hack attempts, but we tighttt), cloud infra (after burning so much money, you’d realize leaving it to auto-scaling wouldn’t save you lol), all needed a rethink

I’ve finally understood that Growth is getting bigger, Scaling is becoming capable of handling bigger

It’s uncomfortable to pause when things are moving tbh.. but building a company is as much about knowing what to fix as it is about knowing what to build next

I’ve also met some really cool founders and operators and had conversations with almost everyone I’ve looked up to in the tech ecosystem. Grateful for the access and the clarity that csme from it all

We have a much clearer picture of what needs to happen next

Hold your seatsss, we are going to be all over your timeline 🙂‍↔️

@Daviowhite If they were abandoned with almost no bank errors, it often means cards that never complete, especially international ones.
@bachs_hq has reliable international card collection.

I'll personally get you live this week. DM me.

The part I'd point people to: Build with AI.

Prompts and skills you hand to your coding assistant so it adds Bachs to your existing app properly, instead of guessing at the API.

Docs written for agents as much as humans. That's where integrations are heading.

Exactly, so everyone should just calm down 🤦🏾‍♀️

🤣🤣 fifth time I’m seeing this

when the conversations started, even I told her not to think twice about it! That funding is going to unlock so much for builders, people are beginning to see what’s possible

so no, there was no dog eat dog situation or sidelining… Shalom and I spoke about it well beforehand and we couldn’t have been more excited to have powered Lagos Life to where it got

and honestly this is still one of the biggest wins for Bachs… The publicity, the growth and most importantly, the validation that what we set out to build is real

we’re here to help builders win, seeing Lagoslife succeed at this scale is a huge win for us too!

[Bolu Dada @the_boludada]

I’m not sure we fully understand how significant this is

$500k raised in less than a week of launch, 4m+ users, $170+ rev…. It’s absolutely insane

I’ve always believed that with the tech available today, profound products would emerge from Africa…the talent was never the problem, the minds, creativity, technical skills were always here

what held many people back was the cost of getting started…. Time was the most expensive thing, then you needed a team, some funds just to get a product to market

AI has changed that narrative… the cost of building and launching products is falling and more people can now turn ideas into reality without needing the resources that used to be ablocker

Lagoslife is a glimpse of what’s possible and I know so much more will come out of Africa. Shalom has broken a mental barrier for many of us, showing us what’s possible when African builders have the tools to bring their ideas to life

Now is the best time to build. Start now!

https://t.co/uZE8QnEDls The goal of this is a website anybody can simply go, check events that are coming up in numerous categories and get directed to the ticket or registration link. This Friday night I was still asking for what event was happening and I eventually just stayed home cos answers came late, hence why I have created this as a public directory to go to for answers. Now this only helps if the people who are organizing and hosting these events go on there to actually put their events. It is completely free, you simply just sign up and publish your events, no payment nothing, sell your tickets wherever you want just put the link so people get directed to it. This is basically free advertisement for your events as well. I know y’all hate signups but I’m sorry I need you to be able to edit events as well as publish as many as you like so I have to tie them to you. Do check it out and give whatever feedbacks you have: https://t.co/uZE8QnEDls
