Brothers Jordan & Rubin Hermann played for South Africa in the first T20I vs NZ today.
Did you know they are the 8th pair of brothers from SA to play together?
Here is some more information about the other South African septet 👇

Just saw BCCI secretary’s interview that Rohit Sharma is not retiring on 19th.
Which is good to note.

I’ll reiterate my thoughts around this.
I’m not sure about Tests and T20s, but One-day cricket is a format Rohit has ruled and if he truly believes he has more to offer in this space, then the BCCI must, respectfully, pay attention.
He hasn’t just excelled in the format but on occasions, owned it.
He’s hungry for a 50-over title and who knows? That hunger could precisely be what India is looking for.
The most important thing for the BCCI to do now is lay down a clear roadmap for the 2027 World Cup and put an end to unwanted, unnecessary speculation.
Why create unrest when there’s no need for it — unless there are certain individuals in Indian cricket specifically looking to create this unrest.
If that’s the case, the BCCI secretary needs to attend to this too with utmost urgency.
Having said that, where 50-over cricket is concerned, it is to India’s advantage that players like Ro & VK want to continue plying their trade.
If someone’s telling me a 50-over World Cup in South Africa won’t need dollops of experience, I’m not sure how they’re seeing it.
VK is looking like he’s back in top gear. In fact, he seems to be the most energetic sight on the field.
I’m sure Ro won’t be far away from it, if this constant backbiting & lobbying were to take a break.
To some very specific individuals, I’ll say this in the best interests of Indian cricket — please don’t be in a hurry to address issues with hate and prejudice.
Just go with what helps the team do better.

A few major records that were broke in today's MLC Eliminator b/w MINY & WF

WF chased 266 with 8 balls to spare🤯
The ICC’s changes to the fixture format for the 2027 ODI World Cup and 2028 T20 World Cup make sense from a competitiveness standpoint.
But if the final goal is to grow the game, there needs to be a stronger pathway for emerging nations.
Teams like the Netherlands, Scotland, Nepal, USA and Ireland need more meaningful matches ( FOR EXAMPLE: getting added as the third team into every bilateral series ), not just qualification tournaments.
Let’s not forget, that collective growth will make this sport a spectacle at the olympics.
I really wish there were more women’s test cricket. In the right conditions it’s a good watch. The coverage and Playing it at Lord’s has been good viewing.
From an opponent to a friend over the years. It’s been a pleasure watching you bat and compete against you over so many years but more than that I value our friendship and shared perspectives on the game and beyond. I continue to cherish every time we speak or meet. Wishing you nothing but the best always brother. You’ve done your bit, you deserve to enjoy all of it now and put your feet up. Well done mate, life’s only just begun. ❤️ #KaneWilliamson

Let’s not brush Arshdeep’s social media antics with Tilak as “banter.” It is a problem that needs addressing. Solid from Sidharth Monga: https://t.co/tdPPQwXdnj
Yuzvendra Chahal has created 16 catching chances so far at #IPL2026, 8 of which have been dropped 😳
Among 61 bowlers to have created 4 or more chances this year, no bowler has had a higher percentage of catches dropped.
Not often satwik shares something in social media but this time he just shared some harsh reality. This again marks one point Badminton needs more visibility in India.
Mohsin Khan can’t bowl the Super Over. Finally this has happened after 4 years. That’s why you should never impact your best bowler or batter!!! Hopefully sense prevails in the future . #LSGvKKR
-The point of difference (and a huge reason for being effective) for the premium pace bowler was how skilful she was ( despite at a relatively slower pace) amongst the other MEDIUM FAST bowlers that India had to offer. Doesn’t help when all the pacers bowl at the same pace…
The Indian women's team has gone off the boil alarmingly since the T20I series win in Australia. Outplayed in the ODIs, outplayed in the one-off Test at WACA. Now comprehensively beaten in the first two T20Is in South Africa.
