देश भर के छात्रों को इंटर्न अमाउंड 25 हजार मिलता है लेकिन बरेली के इन छात्रों को सिर्फ 3 हजार रुपए।

Day 08 - PEACEFUL PROTEST FOR INTERNSHIP STIPEND:

6 brave protesting students of ICAR-IVRI commenced with a hunger strike from 9AM today.
The institute has failed to send a team of doctors to the protest site despite multiple requests and a prior notice of 2 days by the students to monitor the situation.
The protesters on hunger strike faced severe heatwaves and stomach aches because of not eating food the entire day. They have been drinking only water to ease the hunger and acidity.
The students hope that the authorities will send a team of medical professionals to the protest site tomorrow morning at the earliest so students can safely continue with their hunger strike"

IVRI बरेली में छात्रों के साथ नाइंसाफी क्यों?

देशभर में छात्रों को इंटर्नशिप अमाउंट 20000 से 25000 दिया जाता है लेकिन बरेली में सिर्फ 3000 रुपए?

आखिर इतनी असमानता क्यों? इसी मुद्दे को लेकर छात्र 3 दिन से धरना प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। इस पूरे मामले को 10 बिंदुओं से समझिए-

1-
आईवीआरआई के बीवीएससी एवं एएच छात्रों की अनिवार्य रोटेटिंग इंटर्नशिप 12 महीने की है, परंतु स्टाइपेंड केवल 6 महीने के लिए ₹3,000 प्रतिमाह दिया जा रहा है।

2-
यह अवधि और राशि दोनों में अपर्याप्त है।
इंटर्न पूरे वर्ष क्लिनिकल ड्यूटी, अस्पताल कार्य, फील्ड ड्यूटी और पेशेवर जिम्मेदारियाँ निभाते हैं, इसलिए भत्ता भी पूरी 12 महीने की अवधि के लिए मिलना चाहिए।

3-
छात्र देश के अन्य पशु चिकित्सा संस्थानों के स्तर पर स्टाइपेंड की मांग कर रहे हैं। उनके अनुसार बीएचयू में लगभग ₹23,500, लुवास (हरियाणा) में लगभग ₹24,310 और गडवासु (पंजाब) में लगभग ₹22,500 प्रतिमाह दिया जाता है।

4-
इन्हीं तुलनाओं के आधार पर मांग है कि आईवीआरआई में भी स्टाइपेंड ₹3,000 से बढ़ाकर ₹25,000 प्रतिमाह किया जाए और वह पूरी इंटर्नशिप अवधि पर लागू हो।

5-
₹3,000 की राशि आज के किराए, भोजन, आवागमन और व्यावसायिक खर्च के सामने प्रतीकात्मक है। इससे छात्र पढ़ाई और ड्यूटी पर पूरा ध्यान नहीं दे पाते।

6-
आईवीआरआई राष्ट्रीय स्तर का संस्थान है। यहाँ के इंटर्न का भत्ता अन्य राज्य पशु चिकित्सा विश्वविद्यालयों से बहुत कम होना असमानता और असम्मान की स्थिति पैदा करता है।

7-
स्टाइपेंड की फंडिंग, बजट आवंटन और भुगतान व्यवस्था में पारदर्शिता हो। छात्र चाहते हैं कि राशि किस मद से दी जाती है और क्यों आधी अवधि तक सीमित है, यह स्पष्ट किया जाए।

8-
यह आंदोलन संस्थान या पशु चिकित्सा शिक्षा के विरुद्ध नहीं है। छात्र केवल इंटर्नशिप की जिम्मेदारी के अनुरूप सम्मानजनक और समयबद्ध भत्ते की माँग कर रहे हैं।

9-
मुद्दा पहले भी संस्थान और संबंधित अधिकारियों के समक्ष रखा जा चुका है, परंतु संतोषजनक समाधान नहीं मिला। इसलिए अब लिखित और समयबद्ध उत्तर माँगा जा रहा है।

10-
निवेदन है कि पेशेवर परीक्षाओं के बाद शुरू होने वाली अनिवार्य इंटर्नशिप से पहले स्टाइपेंड को ₹25,000 प्रतिमाह, पूरी 12 महीने के लिए, संशोधित करने का निर्णय लिया जाए, ताकि छात्र बिना आर्थिक दबाव के प्रशिक्षण पूरा कर सकें।

And finally,
exhausted and defeated by dishonesty, the students of IVRI Bareilly have gone on a hunger strike.

They had been protesting for 8 days, but no one paid attention. Some officials did come to meet them, but not to provide a solution.

Just think about it—
while the internship amount across the entire country is around ₹25,000, the students in Bareilly receive only ₹3,000.

Read their statement below—
"DAY 8 | THE STRIKE CONTINUES. OUR RESOLVE REMAINS. ✊

Eight days of protest. Eight days of patience. And still, no concrete response from the concerned authorities.

Today, 6 students are on hunger strike, while around 150 fellow students stand in solidarity, united by one cause and one demand for a fair internship stipend.

We remain gathered at the IVRI Milestone, waiting for the written assurance we have repeatedly requested.

Our voices have not faded. Our unity has not weakened. And our demand remains unchanged.

12 MONTHS OF INTERNSHIP.
12 MONTHS OF FAIR STIPEND.
₹25,000/MONTH FOR 12 MONTHS.

We appeal to the concerned authorities to engage with the students and provide a concrete, written, and time-bound resolution.
