This is not plastic.
This is Afterpoly.
Our first working prototype — made on real production equipment, not a lab cast.
The goal: packaging that behaves like normal material during use, and breaks down in natural home environments after disposal.
9 months of trying to raise for my startup, getting more no’s than replies, and still not giving up because I’ve realized it’s not about being fundable early, it’s about staying alive long enough for the world to catch up to what you’re building.
Working prototypes + 4 LOIs from brands capital is the only bottleneck to pilot & scale
I’ve attached the pitch deck for context.
Worth a quick look?
My name’s Aadil.
I know your time is valuable, so I’ll keep this to three bullets:
• Building Afterpoly currently pre-incorporation biodegradable packaging
that runs on existing machines no retooling
• 4 years in plastic waste & polymer trade, 2 years deep in formulation
@gitcoin Is there any grant or ecosystem funding for climate/material innovation?
Building home-biodegradable packaging to replace plastic at the manufacturing level. Would love to learn if the ecosystem supports projects like this.
