An ideal Reward System is when political appointments, privileges, and recognitions are granted based on competence, loyalty, and proven contribution to a political party not merely on favoritism or personal relationships.
I didn’t want to quote this because, in many ways, Hon. @tundefashola is different. I know a number of young people he’s mentored, and their lives tell the story.
But the truth in your tweet is too heavy to ignore.
Many forget that “ibi tí àgbàlagbà bá wà ni ọmọde máa tí wà bá”.
They ignore those who put everything on the line to help them reach the honey, only to get there and start acting superior, as though association with their foot soldiers, diminishes them.
In contrast, the average northerner in politics recognises and rewards hard work. Down here, some would rather throw crumbs your way, like you have no right to also aspire to be better or greater than you were, while they forget they have also gotten better because you also put yourself on the line.
Down south its about using and discarding loyal people like they never mattered.
Àwọn àgbà ilẹ̀ wa ò kì í rántí ọ̀la.
They’ve forgotten that “ilè là tí ń ké ṣọ́ ròde", home is where true character begins. Loyalty and gratitude should never go out of style.

National Anthem – Common Errors Alert!
Let’s get it right!
Here’s the correct wording of our National Anthem:
Stanza 1
Nigeria, we hail thee,
Our own dear native land,
Though tribes and tongues may differ,
In brotherhood we stand,
Nigerians all, are proud to serve
Our sovereign Motherland.
Stanza 2
Our flag shall be a symbol
That truth and justice reign,
In peace or battle honour’d,
And this we count as gain,
To hand on to our children
A banner without stain.
Stanza 3 (National Prayer)
O God of all creation,
Grant this our one request:
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed,
And so with peace and plenty
Nigeria may be blessed.
📢 Let’s sing it right, with pride and unity!

@theXSSrat I have always followed you, once learnt from your course on udemy, I have followed you closely and read almost every tweet. I have always looked forward to this. Started portswigger myself, finished most courses on web foundation and I honestly need this pls. Thank you
@theXSSrat I am so sorry for all you’ve been going through. I can only send love and prayers to you from here. I believe in God and I trust he’ll hold on to you. You’re not alone.
You know how before frying stew, you make sure the pot is completely dry? Because if there’s even a drop of water, that hot oil will start splashing everywhere and you could get burnt.
Or if you are used to cars, think of your body like an engine. Before a mechanic starts working on it, the engine must be turned off and cleared because fixing a running engine is risky. Things could spill, burn, or go wrong.
That’s similar reason doctors ask you to fast before surgery.
Before major surgery, majority of people get given muscle relaxants as part of the anaesthesia.
This makes all your muscles floppy as the anaesthesia puts your whole body to sleep including the reflexes that protect your lungs.
If your stomach isn’t empty, food or drink can come up and slip into your lungs.
That’s what doctors call aspiration, and it can be very dangerous.
So fasting isn’t punishment, it’s protection. It’s not spiritual protection either so don’t say you will eat because you’re not a religious person.
Before the surgeon begins the work, we just need your “pot” to be dry and your “engine” safely switched off.
You people should not say doctors don’t teach anything on this app sha.
@theXSSrat Truth be told, your consistency has been inspiring.
Not minding the challenges, you kept at it.
Thank you for not giving up.
Thank you for being a blessing to this community.
