@leoolisan@fireshoes I donβt but could make one if enough people were interested. I sorta SB off vibes and figure it out in the moment but you usually trim the combo and any not useful 1 drops against grindy decks and trim more of the midrange plan against aggressive decks
Anotha RCQ anotha qual
Built this version to beat the grindy matchups in UW control and RW Land Destruction while still having red to answer Prowess. Deck felt incredible even though I never once cast icetill. Mycospawn banned in legacy for a reason π

@breadguyry I also donβt think ballista has to necessarily be paired with chrysalis. I donβt hate ballista but Iβm not a huge fan. I used to run 1 and may return to it just to have another wincon and a main deck piece to answer cat or drone tokens (with blade) but rn testing icetill
@breadguyry chrysalis is a better beater. mycospawn is the better utility piece. only matchups I honestly like chrysalis over mycospawn are prowess and boros. otherwise mycospawn being able to get saga or temple and removing a land if kicked is so strong and attacks on a different axis
@KarolBanach4 burn has to play control in this MU but the more they spend on your creatures, the less they actually have to kill you. so I play a midrange plan with sagas and mycospawns till they tap out or run out of interaction, then jam the combo

Highlight was Emrakul in t8 to ult their Chandra, cast 3 spells to put them to 2, then killing with fleshraker+warping wail
@brakshow311 Itβs a card I donβt like but provides enough that it has stayed in. having another βcomboβ with blade, being 2 types for emrakul, being able to get a t3 combo by casting it for 0 with blade + broodscale out, and being a free cast for fleshrakers have all come up to win games

Warping wail was useless, Chrysalis was great in every match but the last. Deck feels great against not control
Ran it back at a 28 person RCQ to win the invite. Mycospawn in the side was useless till it was broken against esper tempo

Went 6-1-1 to make top 32 at the Magiccon Modern PTQ, losing to boros splinter twin (ajani + goblin bombardment) in single elim. Dumb cats
And eternally thankful to my friends who helped me put back together the deck in a week after it was stolen along with my other stuff <3
@RossHunneds congrats! awesome seeing broodscale do well. How did you beat boros without firespout? I always feel like that matchup is super rough since they can just hold up interaction for the combo and develop without the deck really being able to stop it.
@riennezelda@jupiterbrandos superior spider-man changes the copiable values meaning it applies in layer 1
707.3. The copy's copiable values become the copied information, as modified by the copy's status (see rule 110.5).
Ghost vacuum then applies in layer 7
Black smoke has emerged from the chimney at the Sistine Chapel marking the end of the first ballot and signaling it has concluded without the election of a new cEDH RC, meaning the populace must continue to suffer through the Rhystic Meta while mourning the passing of Dockside.
@ThrasiosPassios@CriticalEDH stalling isn't a deliberate intent to cheat, it's slow play with the deliberate intent to run down the clock, unlike slow play which is just playing slower than necessary
@SadRobotAlters idk they synergize pretty well? silas gets back equipments for rograkh, it's worked pretty well for me in my pods of the Ur Dragon, lathril, and gishath
