②2 ALP-T filters capture the spectral data from 4 channels i.e. Ha/OIII/SII/Hb
③To create images in various palettes such as H-O-Hb, S-H-O, H-S-OHb, H-O-O
④Better SNR and contrast

To get this shot, I piggybacked by Sony A7iii on my main telescope. An 85mm lens was wide enough to fit multiple objects into one field of view

Total imaging time: 66mins (33x 120s)

It was a good 4 days spent in the middle of NOWHERE (the outbacks to be exact).

The night skies there were easily one of the darkest and the eeriest I have ever experienced.

I have a treasure trove of deep sky images to process from this trip and I can’t wait to show y’all!

The initial exposures looked really clean and promising with just 3 minutes of data! However, high clouds marred the original plans for this target, which was a bummer.
