the beauty standards that are pushed today are so harmful, especially to women. it’s sad that it’s so common for people to compare themselves to others, i do it myself. but i’d rather just look like me and be happy with that. unique is what is beautiful anyway.
i take my small victories when a stranger sees me in public and uses fem pronouns on me. it feels so much better than being perceived as a male. no thank you… if i am giving masc, i do it in a girl way. i am a lesbian, NOT a straight male. just random thoughts anyway, end post.
i see people and wish i looked like them, but at the end of the day, i want to be me. i want to work on me until i’m uniquely beautiful. it’s just never been easy due to the gender dysphoria i deal with on a daily basis. though, i’m not really sure what me is.
