i can name at least 2 features each of the actors don’t share with their book counterparts yet indy is the only one who is receiving an insane amount of vile hate, but they expect us to believe they’re not racist yeah ok
you could remove every mention of lizzie’s physical appearance and still have the same exact story, because her appearance is the least interesting thing about her
when the show comes out y’all are going to realize just how disturbing gibsie’s misogynistic comments really are and how ridiculous the boy moms looked trying to defend them, it’s not going to look so funny when he’s calling shannon a breeding vessel in 4k
the more i look at lizzie’s story through a racial lens the worse it gets, thinking about sadhbh (a white woman) calling her a wicked and evil little girl and filing a complaint about her defaming her rapist, murderer white son… wow
@lizzieunnie i don’t, so i don’t know if they’re planning on ignoring it completely or what. even though i can only imagine how glaringly obvious it’ll be when he’s around any of the girls. really weird choice imo
@lizzieunnie yeah i hope so too. assuming he’s written the same exact way as in the books i’ll probably dislike his tv counterpart more than i do his book counterpart. i dont wanna start demanding recasts cause i know that’ll just lead to people doing that to indy, but idk what they were
people who were contributing to the misogynistic hate train lizzie endured for years thinking they can just switch up because of her actress? but i thought she was an abuser and a bully? stay on that side we don’t need any of that negative energy near indy
@lxcence#they are so bitter gibsie’s actor matches his book description perfectly but they’re desperately trying to find something wrong with him because they have nowhere else to take out their frustration after katie’s casting turned out to be such a win
