@ephs9994 i enjoy flawed characters yet when a character is never held accountable and the plot makes all their mistakes work in their favor, it becomes boring. tella starts and ends her story in the same place, regardless of all the mistakes she made, she learns nothing.

donatella was entitled self-centered and stupid. there's a fine line between a strong-willed, brave, determinad and stubborn woman and an inconsiderated, reckless, dumb one that a lot of romantasy author can't seem to manage, you can't force the resder to like your self-insert.
