@rtjr Especially now with replay views & more & more electronic stuff going into baseball I feel like some of these rules need adjusted. Like did that slight contact really impact the play that much? I mean I get it if they collided but the heel of cook’s foot slightly hit the glove
@CJ20265200@AGretz And I would still trust Valdez to hit a fly ball more than Triolo. Triolo is an okay hitter in most situations but anytime they need a clutch hit he can’t do it
@AGretz I’m not a pitching expert or know more than prob the basics but Idk who but I really think someone whether a coach or someone in the organization had the pitchers change something like a tweak in the arm angle that could help or save their arm and all it did was overall hurt them
@TomalioT@InfoBattlemage@downbadcomment it’s not common to have parents pay for their child’s whole tuition. Parents should help pay for the child tuition as much as they are financially able to & the child gets a loan and/or scholarships for the rest. But trying to control every aspect of the child’s life is crazy
@DixonDisciple His whole thing is he can throw hard and while that works in high school/college & the minors it doesn’t work against pros. He needs to figure out his control and movement and he’ll get more guys out with 95-97 mph and good movement over 100 mph & no idea where the pitch is going
@AGretz When Chandler learns he can’t fool major league hitter with just power and speed in his pitches and MLB hitters are more fooled by pitch movement and having good control, he will be very good but until then he’s gonna have no idea where the pitches are going
You can tell how while these guys were rivals when on the field especially during Ravens vs Steelers games, but they respect the hell out of each other and what both did when on the field too
Ed Reed to Troy Polamalu about his one handed interception against the Chargers:
“That’s one of my favorite plays that you had outside of a bunch of other ones. I know for a fact you had a genius of a defensive coordinator who really understood you as a player.”

What an awful trade that would be for the pens. Yes, Jason Robertson is a stud and is only 26, but this pens team isn’t in win now mode & shouldn’t mortgage the future for him. If it was Brunicke, McGroarty, another prospect or player, plus picks that’s a better deal for the pens
Our hockey aficionado Charles Borges says the Penguins have a 25% chance of acquiring Jason Robertson this offseason and proposed this trade:
Ben Kindel
Harrison Brunicke
2026 1st round pick
2027 2nd round pick
2028 3rd round pick
Would you make that deal? I would.
This Canadians vs lightning game reminds me of the pens vs Canadians in 2010 where the pens got goalied or even the 2011/2012 where the lightning goalied the pens
While the flyers have played better this second period it’s just clear they really got up for the Pittsburgh rivalry and that really helped them in this series. And of course some of the pens playing like dog water for a good bit of the series
Seeing the youth this pens team will likely have next year will be fun and very interesting to see on top of which vets the team decides to bring in to teach them
Mantha really may have screwed himself with that awful series he just had. Dude had a great reg season but just looked awful and like he didn’t care in the playoffs. Like teams may want you but they may also question your effort if the team that offers it makes the playoffs
