the avengers don't just lose in avengers doomsday. earth-616 gets completely destroyed, and one line in the wakanda teaser proved it.
when the fantastic four meet m'baku, shuri says the king's duty is "to prepare our people for the afterlife."
in the secret wars comics, earth-616 dies in the incursion, so black panther and reed richards secretly build a "lifeboat" pod to survive the end of the multiverse. every doomsday teaser is showing who makes the lifeboat:
wakanda & fantastic four: shuri and reed combine vibranium and 828 tech to build the lifeboat.
thor & love: thor puts his daughter on the lifeboat and stays behind to hold off doom.
x-men (cyclops, magneto & professor x): earth-10005 falls first, and only a few mutants escape.
steve rogers & loki (endgame encore): loki pulls cap from the 1950s before his timeline branch dies.
franklin richards, hulk & sentry: doom captures them to stitch the dead earths into battleworld.
infinity war ended with half the universe turning to dust. doomsday ends with earth-616 dying completely.
if the lifeboat only fits 8 heroes like the comics, who do you think makes it inside?

Thanos lied about the Snap being random. every single person whose life was bought with an Infinity Stone in Infinity War miraculously survived the "50/50" coin flip.
think about the math. Loki traded the Space Stone to spare Thor, Gamora traded the Soul Stone to spare Nebula, and Strange traded the Time Stone to spare Tony. all three of the people who gave up a stone died, and all three people they paid to save survived the Snap. Thanos didn't leave it to chance, he just honored his contracts.

i would love this because im most excited how they show how smart and manipulative doom is like the comics. rather than just showing how strong he becomes this is cool!
be honest, if Tony survived Endgame with full access to time travel and all six stones on Earth, how long before he accidentally caused an incursion trying to build a multiverse suit of armor around the world?
Doctor Strange didn't pick the 1 in 14,000,605 timeline because it was the only way to beat Thanos. he picked it because it was the only timeline that got rid of both Thanos AND Tony Stark at the same time.
go back and watch how Strange talks to Tony on the ship. he realized early on that a guy smart enough to build Ultron and time travel in a weekend was eventually going to be a bigger threat to the multiverse than Thanos ever was.

nobody noticed that the markings on doctor doom's armor just solved the biggest unanswered mystery in the mcu.
when doom breaks into bruce banner's bunker in endgame encore, glowing runes appear on the floor that match the symbols etched into his suit and the ten rings.
everyone thought marvel dropped the phase 4 artifact plotlines when they moved on from kang. they didn't. doom is coming to earth-616 in avengers doomsday because the pieces of his god emperor armor are scattered across the colliding universes:
shang-chi's ten rings: sending a beacon into deep space since 2021 straight to doom's citadel.
wakanda & talokan vibranium: why shuri and namor are both in doomsday (doom needs pure vibranium so his armor doesn't burn out like tony's nano gauntlet).
the green runes (endgame encore): ancient latverian sorcery etched into his suit to cage cosmic power like hulk.
sentry & the void (thunderbolts*): the dark-matter battery to power the armor once loki's tree falls.
franklin richards (first steps) & the x-men: the reality spark to weld the surviving earths into battleworld.
doom isn't invading earth-616 just to conquer it. 616 has been holding the missing pieces of his suit for thousands of years.
only piece missing is who hid the ten rings on earth in the first place. who's your bet?
