What a day. The smell of herbal hay (mainly weeds and buttercups) in the shed, and the smell of rain on warm ground. Two of the nicest smells around, especially in the right order.
Thunderstorm finally abated after a good hour of lightning and claps with some very heavy rain and hail at times ⛈️⛈️🏴
Put the power back on and a best ever fry up of local pork reared within a couple of miles from us and processed by Cig Lodor Fach gifted to us this week 😋👍
@emlynevan We’ve taken on a bit of ground and were slow stocking it. Let a couple of fields grow out rather than topping it. I remember now why we went to big bales in the 80s 😆

Normal service has resumed after a rough ten days of weather. The environmental grazing team are back in action. Bale out with the quad this morning to a new block that needs knocking back for ground nesting birds and waders. Loving the warmer temperatures to melt the snow.
