@CactusFuturist Binoculars make sense, just not quite as presented for 'optimal' use, haha. did they ever show droids getting plug-in rangefinder accessories? The idea of a droid with hands is they can swap equipment between them and/or organics, vs an astromech thats a hyperspecialist
@SCShipyards I wouldn't say overkill - you need the mass to help keep your crane stable. Heck it should probably have more hanging off the butt for counterweight.
@DeltyThe73rd Careful with the Jager. They're pretty fragile. Vindicator usually works as a brawler - PPC for a big gun, and either short or long range missiles to cover short range or reinforce long range attacks.
@AThetrapknight@Dank_Starkiller IIRC Magnaguards weren't battlefield units, just bodyguards weren't they? Combatants were either B-series, droidekas, and the vehicle-bodied droids.
Were snail droids maybe aquatic-specialty chassis?
@Drakon_Fire286@TheHappyHereti1 I mean valk being a stinker of a person isn't new, but I'm wondering if they're raising a stink about Steel Rift?
I didn't see anything about TAP working with Baron of Dice but I'm still surprised no one's gone after them.
@GorlowDavid@DWA1979@Authw8 I thought the important part of a frigate was carried craft vs destroyers are gunboats? So they'll wind up big because of hangar and launch space vs a smaller, denser destroyer
@GorlowDavid@Authw8 Star destroyer is its own class, like battleship. They're a function of ship construction as much as anything, as the single larger ship can use a bigger reactor to drive better shields and weapons while using some payload space for things like hangars and ground troops.
@Therealestcan@dimanari@BTweeter87 Honestly I don't think the majority is byproduct, but its definitely a great way to use it. Plus when you get something like factory-second cookies or skittles to mix across a few tons of silage they get a nice sweet treat, haha.
@Therealestcan@dimanari@BTweeter87 Corn you can chop up the stalks as forage too - the kernels are important for the high energy content of the starch, but cows need fibrous dry matter for good health too.
@FrozenFreeHand@jetinarround Rebels was typically showing early-gen versions of what would be imperial standard vees by the time of the OT. Funky shaped hulls, Victories instead of Imperial SDs, etc. This was a last-generation ATAT, for example
@realmechislove Definitely should have access to more BA scale weapons. My thought is basically a protomech in everything but name - and let it wrap up the ultralight rules because 15 ton fleas suck because they have too many locations to armor
@Periphery_Anon I've seen people legit make the argument, man. I have to debunk it if I see it.
Same with steiner scout lance. I HATE that meme because I will not accept wolfhound/commando slander
@realmechislove I like the torsos for both, not sold on the overhead rack.
We definitely need some kind of micromech rules to replace ultralights and get a lower tech proto replacement in the game.
@Periphery_Anon AC 20s are for smashing structures and closing in on things to bully. Defensive weapons need to be able to reach if you can't control the engagement range, so it definitely improves once it has access to gauss rifles for the hip gun, even the light gauss for max reach can be ok
