Netra Mk1A will make transition to Gallium Nitride (GaN) Transmit/Receive (T/R) modules from Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) modules used in the original Netra Mk1.

GaN radar systems typically achieve 50–65% efficiency, compared to the 25–40% efficiency range of GaAs systems.

Netra Mk1A due to GaN TRMs will have Standard range of 350km and 475km plus in Super Extended mode.

The claim that India "concealed" the sacrifice of six brave personnel during Operation Sindoor simply does not stand up to facts.

✅ The DGMO publicly confirmed the casualties in the official press briefing on May 11, 2025, a day after the operation was paused, and paid tribute to the fallen soldiers.

✅ The Chief of the Air Staff personally visited the family of the airman who made the supreme sacrifice.

✅ Two of the martyrs were conferred gallantry awards - Rifleman Sunil Kumar with the Vir Chakra (Posthumous) and Sergeant Surendra Kumar with the Vayu Sena Medal (Gallantry) (Posthumous).

✅ Today, all six names are etched at the National War Memorial, ensuring their sacrifice is remembered forever.

The facts were never hidden. They were officially acknowledged, the heroes were honoured, and the nation paid its respects.

Political battles are one thing. Twisting the sacrifice of our soldiers for propaganda is another. @INCIndia must stop.

For those claiming India has “only now” revealed the deaths of six military personnel in Op Sindoor, go back to the DGMO’s press conference on 11 May 2025, a day after the operation was paused.
The DGMO publicly acknowledged the sacrifice of 5 soldiers. The IAF Chief personally visited the family of the sixth, the lone airman killed. Two of them were awarded gallantry medals, including a posthumous Vir Chakra.
