Congolese people,
Daughters and sons of this vast and generous land, today we remember.
We remember millions of lives cut short, families shattered, villages wiped off the map, mothers still mourning their children, and children growing up without fathers.
We call this tragedy by its name: *Genocost*.
It is not merely a war. It is a human and economic tragedy that has bled our country for too long—a time when the blood of our brothers and sisters flowed while the riches beneath our soil were coveted and plundered. But the Congo is not dead.
The Congo is rising again.
The Congo is standing firm. We are the people of the mighty river, the deep forests, the mountains that touch the sky, and the minerals that make the heart of the world beat.
We carry within us the dignity of Lumumba, the strength of our ancestors, and the hope of our children.
No one can erase our identity. No one can steal our sovereignty forever. Today, we say no to oblivion.
We say no to impunity.
We say yes to justice, yes to truth, yes to genuine peace.
A peace built not on the silence of victims, but on the acknowledgment of their suffering and the protection of our land. Congolese people, stand tall!
Let every heart beat for the homeland.
Let every voice rise to defend our territorial integrity.
Let every hand work to rebuild, educate, heal, and unite. *Genocost* sought to break us.
It succeeded only in revealing our resilience.
We are still standing.
