The earthquake reminded us, yet we hadn’t forgotten for a single day: How glad we are to have Gezi!
Those trees are still there, thanks to those who defended Gezi.
With our respect to all our imprisoned friends: Justice for Gezi, justice for all!

🧵The clash between #Türkiye’s top courts continues & illustrates the deepening erosion of the rule of law in the country, further confirming that the continued imprisonment of Gezi Park trial defendant and elected MP #CanAtalay is politically motivated.
Following the annulment decision by the 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, the second hearing of the retrial of Mücella Yapıcı, Ali Hakan Altınay, and Yiğit Ali Ekmekçi in the Gezi trial is being held at the Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court.
MLSA is monitoring the hearing.
