The @USNavy's Fourth Fleet has confirmed the successful coordination of aerial and maritime drones to help sink a decommissioned frigate, marking a significant milestone in the service's integration of autonomous systems into live-fire operations.

During the multinational UNITAS exercise, the littoral combat ship USS Cooperstown acted as a baseline platform, deploying four unmanned aerial vehicles and one unmanned surface vessel to execute three kinetic strikes against the former USS Simpson.
