🚨 The House just voted 218-204 to move forward on the discharge petition to provide military aid to Ukraine and impose tough sanctions on Russia. The House will vote on final passage tomorrow. This is our Churchill moment and we must pass the test.
Ukraine unveiled a drone that can be flown from anywhere in the world via satellite, so operators never have to be near the front line. The Adis carries 10kg of payload 20km into enemy territory and can also deliver supplies or lay mines remotely.

Truly morally sickening: that anyone should wish all of Ukraine to suffer the fate of Mariupol or Bucha. Russian occupation of Ukraine means random arrests, executions, concentration camps; the destruction of language and culture; mass kidnapping of children. All of these things have been documented in the occupied territories and continue to go on.
A new cyber-focused military service branch would sit under the Army if one senator’s proposal comes to fruition. Read the story by @thomasnovelly: https://t.co/szqMoFRYgo

A small but growing number of European officials and analysts are saying what four years ago was unthinkable: Ukraine isn’t just surviving its grueling war with Russia, it has a path to victory (but not a guarantee..) My dispatch from @GLOBSEC for @DefenseOne 🧵
After spending a week in Eastern Europe it is very apparent that our tardiness to meet weapons delivery commitments is undermining deterrence and encourages Russia to be more aggressive. Our defense industry must step up and expand production. We are leaving countries that border Russia with a lack of ammo. The same is occurring with Taiwan.
🇸🇪 MoD Pål Jonson: Helping Ukraine is investment in our own security. I have to give it to the Ukrainians, they are very generous with data when you provide them with equipment.
We send our systems to Ukraine and get them battlefield-tested, which gives us better platforms. Working with Ukraine on innovation has been absolutely vital for us.
Because everything we send to Ukraine, whether it’s IRIS-T, artillery, or other systems, leads to innovations in weeks or months. If we tested the same things at home, it would take years or even decades.
It has also changed whole context for us. This has inspired how we conduct our training, logistics, maintenance, and so forth.
The UN report on conflict-related sexual violence confirms what Ukraine has documented for years: Russia’s crimes are systemic, not isolated.
Together with Russia’s listing for crimes against children, this marks another important step toward truth, justice, and irrefutable accountability.
It further exposes Russia’s blatant disregard for international law and human dignity.

NEW: Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., is spearheading a markup amendment to the Senate’s 2027 National Defense Authorization Act that would create a “Cyber Force” as the next armed service branch.
The proposal would place it under the Army. The latest from @DefenseOne below 👇
We stand with our NATO Ally Romania and condemn this reckless incursion on its territory. Our thoughts are with the injured in Galati. We will defend every inch of NATO territory.
Seems like it'd be smarter to regulate how tech companies collect and sell user data, rather than trying to keep US troops one step ahead of data brokers by controlling which browsers they use and which advertising settings they select devices.
