I’d love to integrate something cool into #LagosLife as an AI/Web3 developer, but the team hasn’t responded yet.

Maybe they’re just busy.

I already have so many ideas I’d love to build under the project.

Hopefully, they get back to me.

If they decline my offer, no hard feelings.

This part resonated with me the most on a few levels.

First, when he said "many of you might think I'm an impressive guy, but I really don't know as much as most of you do" I felt it in my chest, because it's a big part of my personality.

I like to think I'm quite knowledgeable generally, but within finance, I'm still very new. Most of you started investing before me, but I decided to take the step to bury myself into it and build in public. "The Wolf of NGX" is just another retail investor.

I call this Fugazi, but not in the literal sense. A part of it stems from imposter syndrome, but I've leaned into it. If I'll always feel like an imposter, I might as well just do as much as I can, as well as can either way.

Second, he spoke about someone planting the seed of confidence that a lot of people out there are not particularly better than him. I've also been privileged that have friends that have echoed a similar sentiment.

I have friends that work in massive organizations (that I obviously can't name here). They often tell me that despite how highly I (rightly) rate those places, they that work there can say that a number of their colleagues aren't better than I am.

One even went as far as saying that those higher up are obviously packed with experience and expertise, but when you meet them, a lot of the mystic disappears, because they're human just like you.

What is the point of saying all this? @Babajiide shared serious wisdom during his interview, and reinforced some key ideas of mine in the process.
