one thing that caught my attention about @xomarket is how it approaches liquidity in prediction markets.
getting people interested in a market is one thing. having enough liquidity for people to place their orders is another.
that’s where xo’s $1m liquidity rewards program comes in.
the program runs over 12 months, with daily usdc and conviction points (cp) rewards available for eligible orders on selected markets.
what i find interesting is that xo doesn’t simply spread rewards across every market. the program focuses on markets where trading demand is growing.
there’s also a feedback loop built into the system. 10% of a market’s trading fees flow back into its rewards, so trading activity contributes to the reward pool.
but placing an order doesn’t automatically mean you’ll receive a particular amount.
your share depends on factors such as how close your orders are to the midpoint, their size, how long they remain on the book, and which side you quote.
for anyone providing liquidity, those details are worth understanding before getting involved.
i’m interested in seeing how this approach helps liquidity grow around the markets people actually want to trade.
