But in all seriousness, the non-compatible rubber parts that ethanol eats away are consumables anyway and should be replaced during regular maintainance.

E20 has higher octane rating than E0 and burns cleaner and has no effect on the combustion chamber itself based on combustion characteristics of E20. Its just the rubber parts which might die earlier.
