Fulfillment looks different for everyone. Although let's not kid ourselves having your own seed /child is one of the highest form of fulfillment in life, even greater than Paris if I may say; whether by choice or not otherwise there wouldn't be so many kids.

That being said, being single without responsibility is how most of us would like to be; "carefree". Yes, being a parent restricts you in ways but it doesn't ultimately mean your life is dull/doomed. I think we need to work on that narrative.
