@SenryuChest @pippaesque Love this, O. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 It has this quality where the last line/word surprises me. I don't know why but I expected the word "feral" lol
@SenryuChest Likewise! I forgot how cool it was to be on here & read new work by great poets like yourself. I definitely miss it & I guess that's why I started creeping back.
@SenryuChest Hey, Bluesky is just an alternative for me. I never know what's going on with this place, so it's good to have options :) I've browsed Threads, Spoutible, Mastodon, etc., & Bluesky just seems familiar enough yet different. I'm not gonna lie though—way less people there than here.
@mybookandbranch A late Merry Christmas to you, Laura. I don't have any snow to offer you, but there is snow in this poem from @MamaJoules:

.
a light dusting of snow
around the edges
of the windowpanes...
our hearts remember
the little things

I'm not ok. Lots of us aren't ok. And the shitty part of this is not being able to say so. So let's get ok with our non ok-ness. I'm not ok. The world is not ok, and most people I interact with are not. And it IS ok for me, and others, to not to be ok.
@mybookandbranch You've got the right attitude! It's good to see you as well (& to be back—kind of). Sorry I took so long to respond. I'm in & out over here. Also, I'm dabbling in Bluesky. Are you there as well?
