4/ it really makes me feel for people in the service who genuinely want to ensure the safety of the public and are really passionate about their job, because the name they get from issues like this really isn't nice, but it's just so hard to see how this trust can be rebuilt

1/ My mum was telling me about when she was a teenager waiting at a bus stop in the dark, and two police officers pulled up in their police car and told her she 'shouldn't be waiting for a bus on her own' and that it's 'dangerous at night for women' - she got in the car -

3/ they never dropped her home and just drove her any old place? We put our trust in the police service because that's how we feel protected as UK citizens, but when the abuse of power is so fucking persistent, how can we trust in them to keep us safe???
