@KaosLoveSoup@LukaLev Maybe you’re right, but are you advocating for a child to live through their the shitty relationship? Divorce or separation is usually better for the child in these cases
@PropoGss@issatv89@MOconnor59443@fwletua A simple google search confirms you have no idea what you’re talking about. Also, you expect everyone to be quiet when people are spewing vitriol online? People will react.
@Rightmemer1@HooliganGrundy@JohnStossel@elonmusk It won’t belong to the office of the president. Plans have been made to transfer the plane to Trump’s presidential library foundation. The library foundation is run directly by the Trump Organization, and the trustees for his foundation are specifically people in his inner circle
@spoonson89@Heartbreak1980@Vargantuan@emkenobi That’s where personal boundaries come in. If you don’t like it, that’s your personal preference, but shaming women for doing legitimate work shows immaturity.
@BeachLifeMom5@BLU_AV8R@thegabriel72 The bible doesn’t explicitly state anything about digital currency, as the concept of this wasn’t invented yet. What it does mention is a global authority over buying and selling, but having digital currency isn’t the only way to achieve that goal.
@NaIM_liketht@BLU_AV8R@thegabriel72 Stores are also rounding up as well. When Canada went through this, businesses did not have a massive increase or decrease in profits due to change rounding. If they rounded down your change every time, then that would definitely be anti-consumer behavior.
@SabrinaG433@BLU_AV8R@thegabriel72 True, but most banks are not ordering any more pennies anymore. At the bank that I work at, we only have what’s in the corporate vault left, but Loomis and Brinks are not ordering any more pennies from the Federal Reserve anymore.
@fhuckelon@joeonthebluff@Bigsteelguy2@MarieIsabellaB@WallStreetApes And you haven’t reported them because…..? In any case, personal experience isn’t evidence for a broader universal claim. Just like how you see a majority of people abuse it, there are many who see the opposite. It oversimplifies a complex issue.
@UrsherIsMyName@WallStreetApes - poorly, then that’s on them. The point of the SNAP program is to combat hunger, not dictate a healthy diet. There’s also the fact that unhealthy food is usually a lot cheaper. I’d be hard pressed to eat healthily with $187 to work with every month.
@UrsherIsMyName@WallStreetApes SNAP does indeed require recertification every 6-24 months, depending on the cause of the need. In fact, most need-based federal programs are. And while I understand the desire for people to eat properly, they are given an average of $187 per person, so if they choose to eat -
@CornWallaceUSA@UrsherIsMyName@WallStreetApes Undocumented people CAN’T get food stamps at all. Even someone who is a resident needs to have lived here for 5 years before being eligible for ANY federal program. DHS has direct access to both SSA and IRS information, so the application would end as soon as their SSN is given.
@joeonthebluff@Bigsteelguy2@MarieIsabellaB@WallStreetApes The usage of debit a lot easier for agencies to track fraud due to usage patterns and similar criteria. Also, 2% of 42 million is about 840k, so it’s possible fraud is rampant in your area. Question is, why haven’t you reported it if “everyone you know” is selling their benefits?
@UrsherIsMyName@WallStreetApes What about it do you disagree with? Compared to other alternatives, SNAP is one of the most efficient forms of govenment aid when it comes to cutting costs and maximizing the impact per dollar expended. I’m asking with a genuine curiosity.
