I saw a guy on TikTok say you can't "mental health" your way out of accountability, and I want to scream it from the rooftops.
Mental health issues don't give you free reign to hurt people and not take responsibility.
I got a job. I got a home to live in. I’m not missing any meals. Bills are being paid. I got a car to drive. Family doing fine. I got breath in my body. It’s more than enough reason to tell the Lord thank you 🙏🏾
I want my man to be able to enjoy his life & still be faithful. Go out & have fun with your friends. Just RESPECT ME IN MY ABSENCE. That's all I ask.
I really matured. I don't care to argue. I don't fw drama. I'm really just chilling. I pray for the people who did me wrong. I'm not seeking revenge bc l'll always be blessed regardless! All I care about is my peace, making money & taking care of my loved ones. Be blessed
Everyone is not welcomed to my home. This is my safe haven, personal space, where I lay my head, gather my thoughts, & gain my peace. All company isn't good company. Refuse to have negativity where I reside.
When old friends or old flings try to come back around sometimes it's best to not rekindle things & keep that door closed. It's no beef or bad blood, I'm just in a new chapter & a different head space. I choose to not deal with anything from my past.
I NO longer shut my mouth when family members, friends, or associates step out of line. You’re going to hear what I have to say. Trauma taught me to stay in a “child’s place” & not speak up because it’s seen as “disrespect” but I’m a FULL GROWN adult now. You will NOT talk to me any kind of way and think I’m going to let it slide. Idc who you are.
I just heard this therapist say that sometimes being a loner is a trauma response. You’re so use to people you love not showing up for you &/or you may have grown up in a toxic environment. The only one you could depend on was YOU! So you naturally feel safe when you’re alone.
Social media has made a lot of y’all meaner than you realize. Under the guise of “just sharing your opinion”, y’all pick apart peoples looks, critique their creativity, and post reaction videos to snippets of their life (out of context) to push whatever narrative that you want about them. Where people used to log on and share their joy, many are now afraid to post any good news because it gets ruined with negativity from strangers.
In every situation that involves male violence against women, the onus remains on women needing to arm themselves, dress ‘moderately’, or give out their phone numbers against their will to avoid getting killed. It’s never on men needing to simply stop harming and killing women.
That fight was hilarious.
But then...you realize those white folks thought they could beat a Black man in broad daylight in front of people recording and nothing would happen to them.
That part, is actually not funny at all.
I desperately need your help. This is my cousin Imani Serafina Roberson and as of today, she has been missing for two weeks. Imani is a twenty-nine year old mother of four, and on Sunday July 16th, she had dinner at her mother’s home and has not been seen since.
@therachelrabbit Healing makes you way less tolerant of stupid shit. It causes you to see that if people reflected more they wouldn’t have some of their problems. When you know better you do better and also encourage others around you to do better.
@therachelrabbit Some ppl have very toxic tactics, if communicated & that person isn’t receptive, u have to implement boundaries. A lot of healing is about protecting ur energy & spirit, sometimes that comes wit revealing expired connections, some ppls ways just don’t align with where u are going
