The Iredell County Sheriff's Office has announced charges against 44 year old Terrell Williams of Stone Mountain, Georgia in connection with a burglary at Greg Biffle's home following Biffle and his family's death in a plane crash last December.

Williams had recently been arrested in Cobb County, Georgia in connection with a separate residential burglary. Information that developed in that investigation indicated that the property associated with Williams at that time was connected to the burglary at Biffle's residence.

Williams has been accused of targeting vacant or unoccupied residences associated with highly-publicized homicides and other cases.

Officials are working to secure a transfer to North Carolina so that he can face charges in Iredell County after he is prosecuted for the Cobb County charge. The charges he faces include multiple felonies, among them second-degree burglary.
