Exploit Update

Thank you to everyone for their support and patience so far as we work through our exploit from Friday, 11th of September

We have now identified the probable cause of the incident, and it is related to a piece of malware and a social engineering campaign from a team posing as investors - they are still active and have been reported to X

The malware sat silent until last week, before waking up and hacking several wallets both Dominion and Personal wallets, draining every one as well as breaking into our multi-sig and dumping over 42,000 SILV tokens - $2.75m

They dumped the tokens into a thin liquidity book, caused the depeg, unwound lending positions, and led to trading chaos

Thankfully, they got no access to our mint function!

Over the last few days, we have engaged with several forensic and security firms and have now reported the complaint to IC3 to get it in front of the FBI

This is an ongoing and constantly changing situation. We will have a token update in the next 2 hours for everyone.

I urge everyone to avoid links and impersonators, and know we have no intention of deploying a new contract.
