Then we watched a live TV segment from the audience and got prepped for ours!

My last day at work was Friday-on Sunday I was helping my KidWind team prepare their television presentation! We met new people and prepared out set up

And then it was time to retire! Thank you students! It has been a pleasure to create with you!!!

It was a positive experience for all!

Everyone, regardless of age, got involved!

In fact, students got a chance learn and then present their app to judges and the public. It was exciting!

There were also opportunities to code - through the Capital One after-school program or Cyber Patriot! Both excellent programs!

There were also after school opportunities to play! In these pictures students were making a lava lamp! Super fun - highly recommended!!

And lettuce (pun!) not forget our farmers. They grew the food, in house, that was, once the harvest was ready, used to garnish the classes’ meal!

Before we leave cooking completely let’s look at some other recipes, the art of following directions, students made! Cinnamon buns! Pancakes and bacon! And of course they practiced teamwork!

And there are so many ways to create a rabbit!

But creativity doesn’t stop there! You can apply creativity to learning how to sew! Students learned how to sew at the same time they learned how to make a simple circuit! Electrical engineering 101!!

Wait, did you say pies too! Exactly! You can create with pies too! In fact we made homemade ice cream to learn about the science behind the process and then we enjoyed our pies!!

And students created so many designs!

But cookies are not the only thing that you can practice creativity - cake decoration is also an option!

Creativity is one of the traits that employers are looking for in their employees. In fact, creativity sits at the top of the new Blooms taxonomy. Designing cookies with a theme gives students an opportunity to practice teamwork, planning, and creativity! They did a great job!

We also cooked. We made and decorated chocolate chip cookies...
