2027 INF Nic Malorzo (Rome Free Academy); stays behind the ball here for a SAC fly. 1 of his 3 RBI on the day.
Short take back/limited stride that keeps him on time.

Lactic acid after pitching? Total myth.
Yet so many coaches STILL (🤦♂️) send guys running poles to ‘flush’ it
Dr. Marc Richard from USA Baseball destroys this one in under a minute
Game-changer for recovery
Baseball coaches: watch, learn & stop being stuck with myths:
"Hitters who hit more, hit more."
I strongly disagree.
Some of the hardest workers I've coached under-perform (compared to the work they put in)
I was one of them.
It's the mental side.
- Anxious.
- Nervous.
- You care so much it works against you.
I remember shaking in the box because I wanted to be so good.
It wasn't fear of the competition.
I just cared too much
I didn't need more reps.
I needed to train winning.
I needed to focus on scoring runs.
I needed to stop thinking about ME and start thinking about scoring runs for MY TEAM.
When you shift your focus from yourself to YOUR TEAM, your energy transfers.
That's when the swing you worked your butt off, shows up.
South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black!
We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle.
Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied.
Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!
As a ballplayer, this will give you goosebumps
Taking dry swings in the hotel room and laying out your uniform like you were in 12u again
Love this reply from Judge!
@SteveTeel17 Caminero, has later loading then he could to be even better but gets away with it because of how athletic he is. But he still coils and puts torque into the handle from behind his back leg getting a lot of deep rearward bat speed. He definitely doesn't push it forward Frye style
Defense is a big part of my game. I take pride in range, instincts, and making every routine play.

Based on the video, I'll analyze this 13u player's swing using High Level Pattern (HLP) principles—focusing on load, launch, adjustability, and repeatability—compared to Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani. Note: 60ft distance and composite bat aid power in youth play.
**Player's HLP Analysis:**
- **Load:** Good rear-leg coil and scap retraction; stable base, but slight forward leak reduces explosiveness.
- **Launch:** Snaps barrel well, generating solid bat speed (~60-65mph est.). Contact is clean, upward path for lift.
- **Adjustability/Repeatability:** Handles inside pitch effectively, but stride is long, limiting quick adjustments.
- Overall: Explosive for age, produces triple. Score: 7/10 (promising but refine stability).
**Vs. Judge:** Judge's massive frame yields 110+mph exit velo with elite load depth. Your player mirrors the upward path but needs more torque for similar power.
**Vs. Ohtani:** Ohtani's swing is ultra-efficient (quick load, snap), highly adjustable. Player shows similar barrel control but less hip-shoulder separation.
Tips: Drill rear-leg stability to boost HLP traits. Keep honing!
